Mine does not hang up at all. I have heard of this, but I have no problem. I have fired a few hundred rounds in mine. I fired velocitors, punch, CCI segmented, CCI quiet round nose, CCI subsonic segmented. Mine liked the subsonic segmented the best for some reason, but it shot very well with all of the loads I have tried so far, It’s extremely light, accurate, and very cool.

The bolt in mine is a little rough, but after a couple hundred rounds is has smoothed up considerably. Some folks suggest putting some polishing compound on the bolt and running. it EMPTY in the living room a couple hundred cycles to get it smoothed up good, and faster. I bought some Flitz to do just that, but mine seems a lot better just from shooting it, so I haven't tried that. The stock trigger was not to my liking, it was only adjustable from 3.1-3.8#, so I replaced it with a Trigger Tech Diamond, and I'm really happy with it overall now.

Side comment - I'm told that .22lr needs to have 10~ish rounds discharged into a side target to "season" the bore when you change the ammunition brand... something about firing out the lube/fouling from the prior brand. Not sure if true, but many .22lr gurus claim it is the case.
From looking at Rimfire Central forum, cleaning doesn't help groups... seems to hurt them the tiniest bit, until the rifle is "seasoned" again. Weird.
Anyway, just some passing thoughts. My BXR isn't as accurate as your BMR, that's for sure.

@@TheOldFatDadGoober It makes a ton of difference, accuracy goes haywire if i switch brands. If i shoot Lapua or SK which uses the same lube i have no ill effects and amzing accuracy. However if i switch brands the first shots of that is bad, then same this switching back.

I was intrigued, so, I put down the cash, but I went cheap buying a RAR 18" barrel raised comb. I changed out the trigger, the bolt handle, and the scope base. What I determined is, to try to find what shoots the best accuracy with different loads; clean the barrel or shoot just one load. The other way, will not show the rifle's true accuracy. From 100 yards with Norma Tac-22 five rounds group size (.250' four rounds, fifth-round group size .660"). I seasoned the barrel.

Fwiw… mine cycles the Federal 525 count blue bulk box smoothly and 100% reliability… and the accuracy is reasonably decent at 75 to 125 yards.
Is it competition accurate? No, but what it lacks in accuracy it makes up for in getting along well with the ornery bolt out in the woods for quick follow-ups.

My gun shoots CCI standard velocity pretty well. Lapua Midas + shoots lights out in it. Wolf shoots great at 25 yards. One of the better. From what I've gathered in my research this happens a lot in 22 rim.
Some folks like Federal match. I did my testing not cleaning between loads. The pro's and the tournament guys here say clean between and shot a fouler or 2 before grouping. Some of these guys shoot ten rounds right before their turn in a match. Heat up things. Of course this is the serious folks. Still, it's fun to get that day when your groups are ragged holes as a plinker.

You're not suppossed to run stingers in them. You're actually forcing the case into the rifling which is NOT good. Stingers are for one awful accuracy wise and also they are Extra LR so the case is longer.

I would be interested to see what multiple groups would produce. If you shot a few with each type, you might have gotten different results. I do however understand this is expensive stuff, that you might not want to send $100 of .22lr ammo downrange just to satisfy *my* curiosity lol.
I just got a custom Savage .25-06 that I'll have on the channel by next week, shot a 3/4" group at 115 yards on first attempt. I'm excited to try for 1000 yards for the first time ever now that I have a rifle capable of it...

I wonder by looking at those groups and knowing what those ammos are capable of doing do you think that rifle would like the shorter RWS ammo? I have an Anschutz that would do similar with those ammos but will make the holes touch with RWS. That is if I do my job.

We know NOTHING about air guns. HELP!
We can use an empty 3 car garage as an indoor range. Training for inside self-defense between 7 to 21 yards, stationary and moving.
Here's our needs: No “slide-blow-back”; both semi + full auto; pistol or rifles=without stock/butt; detachable sights; picatinny for red dot laser; .22 caliber or larger with heavy grain pellets or BBs; for power not speed with easy loading, with no extra magazines and easy “field stripping”. Threaded barrel for real good suppressor is a must! We already have the “Steel Storm” on order. Looks and replicas mean nothing. It’s “hard-core” basics please. No pressure! If you or any of your channel readers can help, that would be great! T.I.A. PS: Do they make a Nitro Piston Air Pistol or Rifle fully automatic?

If I want a light weght 22, I would go for a youth model and install a stock extender.. Single shot with a match chamber is no problem, when you drop the bullet in, it's already alligned with the chamber unless you dropped it in backwards. Carry a spare round in the web of your fingers. With the absolute certainty of ejection of a quality single shot, like my Marlin Mod 10, followed by the absolute certainty of feeding. I have an Erma 22 semi carbine that has a match chamber that will sometimes shave a bullet and sometimes have a misfeed. Not like yours, but still not what I would call reliable. Everything in life is a tradeoff but 'd want a match chamber 22lr bolt action to be a single shot.
That match ammo isn't match after it's shaved lead against the match chamber. You can take standard velocity 22lr and make it match with a rim guage [headspace] and a scale [uniformity] culling what doesn't meet standards. Usually the deviation in weight will be the powder charge. Check neck tension by trying to twist the bullet. If it moves but you can twist it to where it's tight, it's acceptable, if it stays loose or gets looser, it's for plinking.

I have exactly thr same rifle woth a 4x16-44 riflescope and it's agood rifle but i would have much more prefer a 60° degres angle concerning the bolt lever...instead of this 90° angle it has. Also, yes indeed the bolt is not enough smooth as if i se specific lubricant and clean it carefully after each use. Otherwise, the carbon barrel is a beauty and can shoot accurate, realy accirate if you use the good cartridge, of course. The magazine is well done and it's system of release ambidextrous, also is good. The stock is ok as if i added some foma at the rear to avoid a little bit this plastic empty sounds when you knock it. The second complain after the angle of the bolt is tje angle of the grip. It is not enough vertical on my opinion...it would just need a angle more vertical. In conclusion, for the price you have a very good rifle with a very nice and accurate barrel, very light weight as if the angle of the bolt and the grip should be upgrated / updated.
