That is a very nice video about Karimunjawa Island, Joanna. Thanks for sharing! Alles Gute Dir und vielleicht kommst Du mal wieder auf diese tolle Insel....
i recommend you to come visit Pahawang island in the southeast sumatra island i guess. to be exact in Lampung province. i never be there. but a lot of people said there is a good place and amazing beach.
Thank you Joanna to share your experience to us, me and my boyf are going to Karimunjawa in two weeks and we are very exciting to live this experience!!Thank you very much for the view!!Greetings from Brasil/Italy😉✌July and Andrea😘😘🇮🇹🇧🇷
Argie Koto thank you very much! It was only me picking the rubbish, so sad how everyone was swimming around it and didn’t care to do anything. When I started picking it the guide also joined me a little.. I hope I can motivate people to do the same, since I know it’s much and you can’t pick it all yourself, but little by little and there’ll be a change :) Thanks for subscribing and supporting my channel, xx
Tack så mycket! aa det ser man tyvärr på många ställen, vi får alla va noggrannare med vart vi lägger vårt skräp :) Förhoppningsvis blir situationen runt om här bättre snart
Those islands look gorgeous! Lovely video. I'm curious - with how much detail did you plan your trip? Do you have everything planned out and booked or are you going with the flow? Peace&Love xxx
They are! I did not plan in much detail at all. I did do a rough plan on where I'd like to go and when that would be about and then I do have my big flights (the ones in between the countries) booked because I want to keep down the cost and I can only stay 1 month in each country anyway. The hostels I usually book one day in advance or sometimes just arrive at the destination and ask for room :) I hope that helped xx
Joanna, i noticed in the video you are snorkeling in some kind of wooden pier or jetty, whats the name of that place.. very beautiful. Thanks for the vlog
Laeica wezlar Hi! Thank you for liking it :) unfortunately I cannot certainly tell you what pier it was. It was on that same island we had our lunch (the fish in the video) during the snorkeling/island hopping trip with the boat if that helps.
Eko Sulindo I think I met someone at a hostel who told me to go there. That’s how I found most of the places I went to, With Karimun I don’t quite remember tho tbh😄
Yes you can and it is absolutely beautiful. In one part of the video you can see it a tiny little bit. We were watching the stars there, but I don't have a good enough camera to capture it on video. at 8min th-cam.com/video/YOl50cB_yjI/w-d-xo.html
Unfortunately I don’t have a guide for that. I went with a bunch of locals that I met and they were kind enough to show me these amazing places. So what I put in under the video description is all I know. Other than that it’s good to rent a bike and try to find some spots yourself. Back when I was there, there was no tourism and barely any road so you just tried to find a place on your own or took a boat out to some close by islands ☺️ don’t know how it’s there now tho, things might have changed a bit. Have fun!
@@JoannaTravels ciao, today i arrive on Bali, still nobady, more local tourists, and the restrictions is more allowed...I found guide for my activities 😉.Thank you!
I like the flognya ... I hope you are not disappointed to enjoy Indonesia's nature .. And for Indonesian people please do not throw garbage carelessly ..
genevieve eileen yes there was, that’s the one we went to in the video I think. I’m not sure if we were there out of season but back then it was quite abandoned. The locals talked about it a lot tho, so I’d guess it’s a thing :)
I'M SORRY Joanna MY PEOPLE CITIZEN STILL DOWNING THE GARBITS EVERYWHERE UNTIL IN THE SEA TOO,THEY'RE STILL TO MUCH VILLAGE (TERLALU SANGAT NDESO) WKKWKWK 🤣
Ross don’t be sorry about the rubbish, if you go there try and spread awareness instead! Also try to pick up rubbish when you see it. Rubbish is everywhere in this world unfortunately and only we/humans can make something about it. Karimunjawa is beautiful!!
Hi Joanna, i reaallly inspired about your vlog exploring Java, make me wanna do the backpacker explore java too (eventough I am Indonesian, haha). I wanna ask you something, what kind of practice you do, so you can free dive like that ? I can swim, but I can't swim deep down the sea like you do, haha.
Fajar Ramayel Hi! That makes me so happy😃 all I wanna do is to inspire and your country is so so beautiful, if you have the chance you should travel around in it as much as you can! To your question, a lot of people actually asked me that. But I don't do anything special, I just really like to snorkel and be underwater so I swim a lot and try to go as deep as I can (17m is the record so far in my Philippines video). So unfortunately I don't have any special tips. I am very sporty tho and I've heard you should be very calm and go down to a meditative state so you can hold your breath longer. So I'd say if you are fit and if you push yourself enough (not too much tho so it's not dangerous) you should be able to get better and better with time. Try to be calm as well. Good luck! xx
Thank you, and by the way I saw your first video, and you said you go for 8 month, what the country you'll plan to visit? and what you do for living? and where are you from? Sorry for my question, I just want to starting backpacker too, but dont know when i can start :'D
Hey! I'm sorry I never replied. I think if you want to go backpacking there is no age limit (well maybe under 18 is a bit hard with economy and booking hostels and so on). But if you have the chance to go backpacking and want to do it then I think you should. I went straight after finishing high school if that answers your question and I actually ended up backpacking for 9,5 months. I visited 13 countries, but there will be coming more videos of my travel if you'd like to see and I also plan on doing a video of how i traveled and how i could afford it, hopefully soooon. If you want to see these videos make sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell so you get notified whenever I post videos :D stay awesome xx/Jo
amy kang I travelled by bus, boat, scooter and taxi. Depending on situation. I always mention my way of travel in the videos so if you click into my channel there will be some more information :) subscribing is a good idea too why not right? 😋 thanks for watching!
Heyo, thanks I'm glad you liked it :) The camera I use for action shots (like under water and scooter and so on is a GoPro Hero 3+ and for my pictures and vlogs I have my little Canon 120s (great size and still has a bit on the manual setting to play around with if you are into photography, not too much but for the size it is good!). If you liked the video make sure to like it and subscribe for more, that would make me very glad :) Have a nice day!
Gianluca Folcarelli Hi! If you take the boat from Jepara, which is on Jawa, it takes about 6h (slow boat/cheap), I’m not sure but I think the fast boat takes 4h.
thank you, i'm sorry for my english, so how many "days" for visiting the area?3 days are many or few?because I'm organizing the indonesia tour and I'm trying to organize the days
Gianluca Folcarelli it depends on how many days you have, I would’ve stayed longer than 3 days :) there are many islands around to visit and it’s a nice place to just relax aswell Thanks for watching my video, make sure to like and subscribe if you want to see more! :D
Gianluca Folcarelli thank you! Flores is beautiful from what I’ve heard! I myself unfortunately didn’t make it there.. since you have many places to go and only 24 days I would say 3 days on Karimunjawa would be good :) don’t stress too much, sometimes it’s better to go to less places but see them good. Explore them and take them in for real, then go to many different locations and stress to see “all” the sights. Have a great time!
Nik Miller when I was there, there were no cars on the island and I didn’t see any bicycle rentals either. There were not many tourist things. Just some scooters. Things might have changed tho 😊
Yes, not so often tho since it does hurt if I do it too much :P It's sad with the rubbish, but It does not only come from Indonesia.. the rubbish was not from the islands it came from the sea which means it comes from the big cities around and other countries. The tide just brought it to that spot particular and in to the shore, the people at the island were actually coutious about the nature there. I think we should all be careful with where we put our trash.
hello bro, please dont say indonesian, that rubbish come from the sea, the plastic problem is not only indonesian problems, but also eart problems, so dont judge one or others country, that our problem, HUMAN.
