Because switches are quite hard to control and can be a bit unreliable, I prefer making thin little pads of sponge on the floor, attaching grabby things to them and then connecting those grabby things to the thrusters/wheels/whatever :)
I believe it is reflecting on the journey of a medieval male...how he is forced to labor in his childhood then server in his teens and fight when an adult....I believe the adult bit is really well shown in the part, "AGAIN AGAIN!!!!!!!"

the problem was the first 2 thrusters were not symmetrical, thus the wonkey lift

IRL, those anti-veering engines are called Reaction Control Thrusters (look them up) and they work pretty much like that.
