    Do you love rice, veggies, seafood, chicken and sausage? Yeah. So do I.
    If there's a recipe that people have been asking me to make in the Instant Pot as of late, it's Paella. This classic Spanish dish is like a potpourri of awesomeness combining every member of the food group from veggies to meats, land to sea and all brought together by a wonderfully rich rice that is so packed full of flavor, you'll hear endless "Mmmms" with every bite!
    Not only is this an incredible dish, it's extra special on a summer's evening eating al fresco with some great company! So go on, take your taste buds on a trip to Spain and trip the light Flamenco!

    Made this tonight. I've been wanting to make this for months. Kind of a make it and die type thing. Well, I'm still breathing, but it was definitely to die for !! A pound of shrimp and scallops, chrizo, and chicken. SO good !! Unfortunately, very filling. Plan on feeding an army. Truly amazing and a lot cheaper than traveling to Spain/Europe. Very east to make, too. Another Jeffery classic !!!

    Tonight for our family Sunday dinner I tried your Chicken Marsala Instant Pot recipe. It was fabulous!!! My son, who is a graduate of Johnson and Wales Culinary was impressed and it’s sometimes hard to impress him. I played your video several times and used it during my preparations. I am following you on Facebook. I anxious to try some of your other recipes. I’m also from Queens, although we live in Boston right now. Thank you again. This was my first time using the Instant pot.

    Ignore the complainers! :) A lot of people are complaining about the soupiness and the chorizo, but guess what. I'm Cuban and we use chorizo in paella and arroz con pollo, and my abuelita accidentally made it soupy once when I was very little and I begged her to make it like that EVERY time after, so this dish looks MUY DELICIOSO, just like Abuela makes! Sadly, I can't do seafood anymore, if I didn't want to add the seafood should I still open it up and saute for "a few minutes" or can I leave it closed and for how long so the rice is cooked all the way through (and I get my lovely soupiness)?

    • @ramonpascual155
      @ramonpascual155 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You are cuban, but paella is a spanish dish.
      And it´s got NO chorizo.
      That´s nothing to do with a paella.
      Wrong rice, wrong ingredients, no sofrito, etc. NOTHING TO DO.

    OMgosh, that looks so good. I noticed you popped the shell into your mouth. Everyone teases me because I eat the shrimp tails. There is so much flavor in them. Love all your recipes. Keep them coming, please. Do you have any low carb/low calorie pressure cooker recipes? My hubby is diabetic, and it's so hard to come up with meals that are tasty and that he can actually eat. Quite frankly, I'm sick of meat and veggies. I've tried several recipes from so called diabetic cookbooks but they are high in carbs and boring. Your recipes are always so exciting and scrumptous. Thank you for that.

    I’m alittle disappointed because I just knew Jeff was going to SLAY this recipe. However I’ve had this dish several times. And this looked more like a rice soup or the rice looked mushy. Paella is a dry rice. It’s not meant to be slurpy. I love Jeff and have followed a lot of his recipes. But I think I’ll pass on this one. #saying thiswithlove

      Pressure Luck, that white fuzzy frozen stuff on the shrimp should be rinsed off before using them. Those shrimps are typically farmed and processed in Asia and I would give them a rinse to remove any kind of off flavor. I totally agree that certain steps can be skipped, but rinsing freezer fuzz off the seafood is not one I should probably skip.

    You do realize that the saffron does not add any flavour to the dish. It’s used for fragrance and colour. It has absolutely nothing to do with flavour...My family is Columbian and my grandmother makes this a few times a year. Not sure what u mean by “that paella flavour we all know and love” but that’s probably from the fat from the chorizo along with the sofrito.
