Here's another battle theme remix! This one took me a little while. I wanted to add more layers to the mixer to make sure no part was left slacking in this remix. If that makes sense at all, *thumbs up. If not, *shrugs. In the end, I just hope the track is well received by you all. :) Let me know how much you liked this track by sharing it with yo frens! Pokemon diamond was my first Pokemon game and I instantly fell in love. Especially turtwig. This is so nostalgic from my childhood. I can't wait for remakes. You deserve a million subs or more.

while diamond was techincally my first introduction to pokemon, I go by games i officially comepleted the story, so black was my first generation, but i think gen 4 was for more, dedicated players, because i was awful up to the pokemon league

My brother and I started with Platinum. Gen 4 is the best. Also, Turtwig was my first starter, so I'm with you there.
Pokemon diamond was definitely my favourite growing up, right after heartgold. Also, Turtwig ia the boi!

@@alexemp6201 here is the thing: pachirisu was there for a support role, with its move that deals real damage being super fang. Thus, it was defensive, not offensive. However, it’s defense stat was so low that leftovers would heal less overall than a single Sitrus berry. Pachirisus job defensively was to use follow me, take something like a leaf storm/Draco meteor, eat its Sitrus berry, take another strong hit and survive.
Pokemon Diamond is what got me back into Pokemon.

Superb. One of the best remixes of anything I've stumbled across. All of the amateurish elements that plague remixes are mercifully absent -- there is no grinding, predictable buildup, for example. Thank you so much.

OH my gosh the flashbacks! I remember being a little kid, playing a store demo of diamond/pearl! I was so excited! And then the countless hours of fun with my friends and family after release!
This theme always made me tense asf as a kid. Shit was tough at times

That baseline is amazing and the chimes are just sweet it sounds like a trainer you would battle after defeating all trainers on a route also don't get me started on the bit where it goes duuuuuuu it just screams sinnoh and omg that art is legendary, NO its mythical anyways keep up the good work

For some reason this is an unpopular opinion, the HP taking longer to go down depending on how much the Pokemon has feels like a great design choice, even if it is actually a game limitation. You can really feel the weight of a Pokemon the slower it's HP goes down, making it a lot more suspenseful to find out if the Pokemon will actually live or faint. Now all the games have the HP go down so fast like the Pokemon is just a slab of cardboard. But as a kid, I always had my teeth gritted as I watched my opponents HP bar go down in hopes that it would faint, and then a sense of panic if there was still a little bit left.
