Me and my brother ran into a guy charging a work truck at EVgo and talked to him for a while. He likes it alot. I think he worked for Siemens. They have a couple of these work trucks in our area. Nice to see them being used out in the world everyday.
Something of note, you cannot run HVAC while the Silverado is plugged in, thats why you had that dip. It's odd this causes an issue but its been reported by Out of Spec and TFL.
The reason the charge rate drops when running the A/C and other accessories is due to the way the pack works. With the 400v vs 800v system, the pack splits the two halved to go to 800v. However the accessory draw is only from one of the 400v 'packs'. This leads to an imbalance which the truck then has to adjust to fix (hence the immediate drop). Afterwards it may have had to keep re-balancing the pack or just swapped to 400v charging which led to the slower long-term rate. Out of Spec has tested this and has identified that to get max charging the A/C would need to stay off.
Great video. I really want one of these some day. I'm really surprised the work truck model doesn't have the middle gate option. Oh well. Also, you're so adorable. I really enjoyed your humor with the size issues.

Hahahaha! 👍 According to most truck owners that I have asked, they would much rather have the Silverado EV or an F-150 Lightning or an R1T than said competitor. It's too bad you couldn't test drive the top-of-the-line RST model, but even this "basic" version has impressive stats, especially the range and ADA system. Those charging sessions were… weird! It's a mystery…? Calla would love to go camping with you in this on a trip to Sedona or Flagstaff or the South Rim! Come to think of it… ¡yo también!

Ultium charging behavior is nothing if not weird. There's the GM dip, and on non truck models the 85 kWh pack is so low voltage that it appears to have thermal issues from all the current even in normal hot summers. This is an opportunity for GM to demonstrate over the air updates I suppose
So GM can build a $35K Equinox EV, Why can’t they offer a cheap small basic light duty pickup with the same battery and powertrain, and maybe the same platform, for $35K?
All power seats should have an up and down ability, it's ridiculous that they don't. EVgo needs to fix their charging stations, it shouldn't be so hard to get fast charging speeds when a vehicle can do it. As almost as if they want EV's to fail, and they will if owners get too frustrated with the slow charging speeds.

I get trying to keep the WT price down, but no seat height adjustment is just dangerous and limits who can and will be able to buy this.
