tbh this wouldn't actually be that OP, at least in POE1. Normal monsters most builds will 1-shot anyhow. If you could get it up to 100% for magic, rare, or, god forbid, uniques though... that's a different story.

I am so happy Culling Strike Threshold is a thing. Witchhunter: Judge, Jury and Executioner + CS stacking? If lucky essentially ignore 40% of boss life.
well, more like (0 to 30)% + 6.25% as shown. So its only a 1.25% damage increase. Actually I think it is more powerful for clear speed than anything else. Doing (0 to 30)% + 37.5% = 67.5% damage to white mobs could be crazy with some form of explode propagation. That puts it at a 7.5% damage increase which is a lot more respectable.
@@Smorb42 Although as we all know from PoE 1, with enough power cull doesn't matter against anything smaller than a tanky rare or boss. If your flat damage one shots without cull it's irrelevant. I wanna strength stack a gemling merc with two handed mace and shield and capped resistance and capped glancing blows. This video just confirms what a great build it would be!
idk if its a "Stregnth-dex" node, but my favorite so far is "regen 1% of life. allies in your presence regen 2% of YOUR LIFE per second" stacking a bunch of life and then being a medic bot seems cool.
If we get a skill that replaces dodgeroll but simultaneously is some sort of attack skill and a dodgeroll. Maybe for a slow tanky character with a shield only type of skill. With an armadillo like roll that damages enemies, they is tanky looking animals.
Im guess the reason theres blocking nodes where mercenary starts (if i understood that right) is because the character who shares its starting position is the duelist (they both str/dex) and duelist had a blocking focused ascendancy on poe1 so I wonder if thats coming back
I may have misunderstood Decimating strike. I thought it removed 30% of starting life apposed to cullingstrike which would be killing at last 10% of life.
Fast metabolism keystone will be either butchered very fast, or moved into ascendancy node. Aint no way this gonna last as a keystone. Even if its nerfed into just 1 second and who knows how much is the percentage of the amount of life leeched going into the overleech, this is already very strong for a keystone. Bloodmage lifestacking will be busted, not only she gets free 10% life leech from spell, most of her nodes that shown in trailer synergize well with one another AND provide offensive bonuses. Also, in PoE 2 we start at the middle of the skill tree and you can see at 4:10 , fast metabolism keystone isn't that far compared to how much PoE 1 witch has to invest skill point to take passives in near duelist area.
@@hatex2mo Well i mean yea in literal mean, but what i meant for free is because you just put an ascendancy point in it and thats it. For something like that, its practically a free in early progression. You don't need to invest points in tree, no need to craft leech affix in gear (if there is actually a spell leech modifier). Its true there is a cost, but if PoE 2 early and top endgame gear / build more or less like PoE 1, then this keystone + spell leech from ascendancy node have the potential to be busted.
That culling strike treshold needs to be 100% to be worthed. As it stands it's 1.5% more damage. In POE 1 the expected damage from a notable is 4-5% more damage
So all grenades count as projectile? From other sources I saw mercenary throw multiple grenades at once. It makes sense that each is a projectile, but their blast isn't. I wonder if cluster grenade double dips, because it looks like it explodes into multiple smaller projectiles. The way i see the dodge roll is as worded and as you stated. So dodge rolls give you invul frames at the start of the roll implying there is a point where your no longer under invul frames even when doing the rest of the animation. The wording on the trait applies to the whole roll animation from start to end. So my conclusion is your trading the short invul frames of 100% damage i'm assuming that lasts 1/4 of the animation for a 30% reduction of damage for the whole animation meaning if a animation is 1 sec 0.25s of that frame you are protected fully meaning 0.25 sec of animation you are reducing 25% potential damage under invul frames while under the trait you are protected for 30% the whole animation. So the case is if your against slow hitting enemies or low numbers of enemies stick with the invul frames if your against fast hitting enemies or loads of enemies take the trait and shrug off the damage.
