- hey all! today i took out the Cross Rc BC8 Mammoth for a good hard run! this truck is simply incredible, it takes all kinds of abuse and just keeps going!

Hey brother....love the 8x8, it looks awesome.....but wondering if you could give people like me an idea of just how big this monster is....maybe put a 1/10 scale rig right beside it...compare the difference in tire size...etc.. I would really like to see you do that in a video

@@burdon84 ....thanks for the link....Yeah finally found the pic...wow looks so small beside the 1/10 rig....if the Mammoth was in 1/10 scale I would definitely purchase one....I'll just build my own....thanks again brother

@@RekkrRC just remember it's a full hard body truck, it won't go where a lexan truck will
@@burdon84 I am aware of some limits of the hardbody. My D90 based truck and TF2 are both hard bodies. My other trucks are lexan.

Can i ask what sound card you use for the BC8 and what radio and receiver you use? I am building the BC8 and have it running with the RC CROSS sound card using a fly sky GT5 , BUT cannot get throttle engine sound. Followed CROSS RC schematics but no go. If I know what you use, this may address the problem.. Very much appreciate your advice as very little information on this issue.
Are you getting any sounds at all?
@@burdon84 When i use the three position switch on the transmitter FS GT5, I get horn and start. this goes into channel four of the receiver, out of start on the RC CROSS sound card. Depressing the trigger on the transmitter gets no sound. Running ESC to channel 2 of light board then out to throttle on sound card.
@@burdon84 Just horn and start which are connected to channel 4 on the FS GT5 transmitter which has a 3 position switch. am using CROSS RC SOUND CARD. ESC runs to chn 2 on LIGHTBOARD, then out to THROTTLE ON Sound Card, which connects to Chn 2 on receiver. Sound card throttle has lead running out to Chn 2 on receiver, and lead running to Chn 2 on Lightboard. Hope this all makes sense. Tanks for taking the time to respond, but getting nowhere fast as every RC shop I have contacted, knows little about the BC8 or no longer deals in CROSS RC.

You people tend to think about Americans every single time. This an awesome and great example of truck delivered from the inner depths of Mother Russia. Russian trucks are light years much, much better than any american truck in existence mate.
@@panzerrjcb ok I get it... Deep from moather Russia. Than father USA make more money with commercial toy than russans with real one... 1000$ per pis... What is problem with moather to build Russian metal stile toy with SCALE real diesel engine and transmission, dif lock and sale that with bigger profit than lada Niva... That toy have price from 3000e to 8000e... Thay have resource, engineers machinery to build that, what is problem? Way don't su this company for writ to build? Stupid Russian.
