      I try to bring my gear with me a lot but I typically end up shooting nothing because I get caught up driving. I could shoot on my backyard course much easier but I've been worried that it will get old, its just not the nicest place to look at.

    I can honestly say I Love that BC8 MAMMOTH Flagship! I have the RC4WD BEAST 2 RTR, upgraded, built a custom dash/interior and I have a full time 6x6 built as a puller with dual 540 Brood Motors with an FX-R Pro esc. I put a semi flip forward body that has made the internet as a cool build(the Vanquish themed semi body did). But, I have to have that Monster...

      Hmm, I thought you must have been talking about my most recent video where I spin some donuts, lol. I'm probably going to be a bit harder on this rig than most others. Anyway the motor has stayed really cool, it hasnt gotten very hot at all. I foresee diff or axle problems before motor problems.

    Hi, I have to agree with the other guys, this is a great video. I suspect also that it is Quite a bit steeper then the video shows, it usual is.. It's hard to show the grade on a video.
    Also that seems to be a great place for crawling, where in the world are you guys? Me i am in Sweden under almost 3 feet of snow right now..
    Keep them great videos coming.👍👍👍😉

    Hello, I'm from Brazil and I want to buy a BC8, so I wanted to know how long the battery lasts, thank you.

    • @humboldtef
      @humboldtef  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Battery life varies a lot depending on how its driven and the size of battery you have. I'm using a 3600 mah 3S Lipo battery and when its driven very hard (lots of full throttle climbs) I've drained the battery in 30-45 minutes but that is a fairly small battery and again thats driven very hard which not everyone will do. This same battery when driven more relaxed will go for 1 1/2 hours or so. A much much larger battery would fit just fine, I was just thinking about using the giant batteries that I use in my bashers. The BC8 weighs 20lbs so when its working hard the battery shows it and voltage sags (you can hear it getting slower and slower like and old Nicad or Nimh battery would do).
      The space for batteries is about 6 1/2" long, 4" wide and 2 3/4" tall so you should be able to cram a ton of capacity in it if you wanted.

      What esc and speed controller are you using?

    Super video, what did you mount for servo?

    • @humboldtef
      @humboldtef  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks! I assume you're asking what servo, I used 2 Savox 2290's. Keep in mind what ever servo you get needs to use a 25T spline (on the servo) as the provided servo horn is 25T and its a specific horn and no other regular servo horn will work.

    This things runs like this stock? Or did your upgrade anything. Looks good

    • @humboldtef
      @humboldtef  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks, yeah that was stock at the time. I havent done much other than upgrade the motor (just cause I wanted to)and fit some stiffer springs up front. It doesn't really need much of anything.

    Is it crawler? nice work!!

    • @humboldtef
      @humboldtef  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its really not a crawler so much as a trail truck but I like to drive it like a crawler. It weights 20 lbs so its not what I'd consider athletic.

    What's the run time on these and are they worth all that money

    • @humboldtef
      @humboldtef  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That depends on the size of the battery and how you drive. Since its still a crawler run times are good, I usually get 45 minutes to an hour out of my 4000 mah 3S lipos. It can fit a quite large battery. Whether its worth it or not depends on what you expect out of it. I'm happy with it and haven't broken anything yet.
