Suggestion: You should start testing some other newer games for benchmark like Resident Evil 4 Remake, Dead Space Remake and some more resource hungry games like Control, Returnal, Hogwarts Legacy and The Last of Us Part 1.

@@Samdevay you will get more benefit if you buy rtx 40 series graphics card and 40 series is future prof but rtx 30 series card also future prof, but some features is missing like DLSS Frame generation so according to your work you can choose any Graphics card.

Radeon Graphics is ass.
A fking 12GB vram graphics from Radeon performs similar to a 3070 with just 8Gb vram.

@@Samdevay Look. Your best option is that 150w rtx 3070ti acer nitro 5 for 110k. The rtx 3070ti is basically as fast as the rtx 3080 and within 10% of the rtx 3080ti. Infact, the rtx 3070ti 150w = rtx 4070 140w in performance.

You get views and I get my gaming laptop
The laptop is overpriced but the 7940 HS is a beast.
We are only throwing "numbers" but not performance per watt. This 8 core is similar to Intel's 14 core i7-13700H.
Plus this 7940HS at 35W scores around 13k CBR23 in Multicore which is incredible! You can basically get high performance in silent mode!
If raw performance is only requirement, Asus 12700H + 4060 is best bang for the buck. But I'm waiting for the 7940HS 4060 model with lower end display.
Performance per watt is key for me.
There are HX processors from Intel and AMD. Both are not in my interest.
Intel requires mental power for performance.
AMD has higher idle power draw due to chiplet architecture.
Both not ideal for a laptop.
Inform here when you get to know about the 79 40hs 4060 of a15. a15 4050 is rated at 1.05L rs.

@@Samdevay Dude I'm a data scientist myself and I used to think the same that you need a good pc to run ML models but believe me I've never used my own pc to train ML/DL models Ever!
There are plenty of online options to run those models like Google colab, Kaggle notebooks, AWS sagemaker just to name a few.
My recommendation, if you really need it for work get Mac Pro or any cheaper windows laptop and add Linux to it.
Else, if you need to game as well, get a good desktop PC, for the same amount you get way more power. I would have done the same myself but I needed to travel so I needed a light and powerful gaming laptop

@@siyzerix after your comment, I did some research on Amazon and it seems with the specs you have mentioned you can build a tower (with monitor) in ~110k +-20k depending on your choices and sales. And add 5-10k extra for a good keyboard mouse and you're good to go!
