I know this is from 8 years ago, but I wanted to see how it goes from prototype to final product after this. I was wondering if the figure shown is a 1/6 scale or an overscaled standard reach figure that gets translated down to its actual final scale during the mold making process. I'm pretty sure it's a 1/6 in the video but that part would have been cool to see. And if I'm correct that its a larger scaled figure I would want to see the smaller standard ones being made too.

macfarlane still owes me more ODSTs! ;w; loved the odsts, hoping to have Romeo to complete my collection. just wish they hadn't focused on Spartans all the time!.....I mean geeze... give me army builders any time!.....watching this though makes me really want to build my own odst troopers.......

They aren't as good, or widespread. Way back in the Halo 3 and Halo Reach lines we had several figures. We could make our own characters from the game. It was a good time.

Too true. Halo reach hands down had the best sculpts and articulation the halo 4 and onward they screwed up the hips and they cant sot down on vehicles good

I miss the ole Reach series. Honestly I prefer y'all over Mattel ANY day! One thing I'd hope y'all would do was to be able to offer us commissioned individualized figures from the Reach line for a reasonable price. I just absolutely LOVE your paint work and detailing, I appreciate it soo much! Man... I'll miss yall, I've been collecting your Halo line for almost half my life now. Great times.. :)

@omrlpz he was painting the reach wave 1 noble 6, but keep in mind that prototypes are bigger in scale to you get in stores, its easier hem to capture details then to scale down after

Are the prototypes the same size as the joyride figures?
@xIxExtremex That thing came out in 2008 based on the Scarab from Halo 3 and it isn't even from McFarlane Toys.
Do they really go through the whole spray painting process for each and every figures produced? wouldn't that be too time consuming?

Jazwares are releasing halo toys 3.75 inch and 6 inch figs later this year. Jurys still out whether they will be good or not

I dislike how the prototypes aren't what we could get. I liked how back in the day, joyride figures were large and in charge. If I could buy a prototype sized figure with standard paint apps, i would buy so many. Countless.

Either the legs are too long or the arms are too short. But they still are some of the best looking figures.
