    I ordered a pair of these to give them a try. I picked up two pairs of the Adios Pro 3s last Christmas and have been using them like crazy since. One pair has over 650 miles, and just recently wore through the rubber outsole on my left heel. They still feel absolutely amazing, and the difference in feel between my 650-mile pair and my others, which only have 57 miles is minimal. Lightstrike Pro is extremely resilient. Can’t wait to try the Bostons.

    Nice review. However, the constant focal point shifting gets a bit annoying to the eye. I'd suggest adjusting your camera to have a bigger depth of field and turning off the auto focus.

    • @ajtam05
      @ajtam05 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah...I second this. Was super annoying.

    • @keitheager6023
      @keitheager6023 ปีที่แล้ว

      Having the camera further away will help with your depth of field but won't look as dynamic. Auto focus is definitely the culprit here. And f stop and lens if those are available variables

      💯 was hoping this would only be for the intro; unfortunately, I couldn't keep watching it. Nonetheless, I assume it was a good review overall.

    Also thinking I'll buy another pair of these, only done a bit over 100km in mine, so still got plenty of time, but unless the Boston 13 is some massive change and improvement, then I'll get another pair of 12s next year when they start going cheaper. Love the high pace I can maintain in these.

    A very good all round shoe! The two things i like the most is the firm heel that pushes me over to the forefoot and the minimal upper that breathe and doesnt collect moisture.

    I'm enjoying my Boston 12s. My goal is to finish a marathon in under 4 hours. Do you think this is a good marathon shoe option for someone who doesn't want to use a carbon racer? Nice review!

    I love these! I trained and ran a 3:23 marathon in these recently. Adidas did replace a set after 150 miles because the top mesh started to frey, and now my replacements have started doing the same after about 200 miles where by big toe rubs I think (I cut my nails lol). Also the rear rubber does wear down quite quickly too but apart from that they are the perfect all rounder for someone who just wants one trainer to do it all. I also rotate my trainers and like you mainly use Nike and these are my first Adidas, I think I might be moving to the adidas pro 3 when my Vapourflys wear out.

      Did you try to go one size up? In my ultraboost i also saw my big toe, one size up and toe wasn't pressing against the upper and whole shoe felt better (not too tight)

  • @deshkanagrikhoon
    @deshkanagrikhoon 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    If you get used to the not so traditional upper it is a wonderful shoe. One more thing ,for some it might take two more tries to tighten the lace correctly otherwise it gets loose on the heel side. It has a break in period of about 70 km.

  • @orsygodri1155
    @orsygodri1155 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I just ordered mine but I already know I have to send them back :( The sizing is ridiculous on shoe brands.
    I usually measure my feet and go by CMs and on Nike I can either be a 39 or 40 and for this shoe based on the Adidas website, on the same CM I would be a 41 but when I went into the store to try them on, the 39 &1/3 was perfect. So the size 40 that I ordered will be WAAAAY too big.
    I understand sizes might differ but 1 cm is still 1 cm. How are the differences THAT big??? I don't get it. :( It's really frustrating when all I want to do is run in my new sneakers but now I have to wait to return them and get the right size.

    I have these and some saucony speed 3s, which fill a similar spot in a rotation. If I had to just choose one... I think I'd go speed 3. I do love these though.

    • @jamesytrains

    I recently purchased a size 11 and 12 Boston 12 running shoe and currently trying to determine the best fit. I found the heel is quite loose and have read some people apply an approach of heel locking. Looking at your video I think this is something your have done, I wondered if you could recommend a video which shows how best to apply the lock?

  • @heyskyieeeeeee

    I LOVE this shoes. But sometimes rocks go inside my shoes when running maybe because the heel part is kinda loose.

    Does the shoe get softer after all that use cuz this boston are so hard and stiff

    • @marceloamador92024
      @marceloamador92024 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The boston 11s are like soccer cleats, hard and stiff but I changed the insole and now it feels like a super shoe. The boston 12 are a different shoe altogether more flexible and softer, but yes I would chnage the insole.
