Something I suspect people overlook is the ability to use this cable-down. Mighy be a significant consideration especially for people with ear piercings (my niece just got a couple piercings and the over ear cables can catch on them, very ouch!) Thanks for the review!
My favorite "ultra budget" IEM is the Moondrop Quarks DSP, but it's discontinued now. Quarks DSP's cable sucks and the cable is not detachable or replaceable. The build quality of the shell is probably the worst I've seen in any IEM, since it's a thin, low quality plastic. But the Quarks DSP had amazing sound quality at it's price point. Looks like Tanchjim One is a nice option in the ultra budget market. Personally, I prefer to spend a little more and move up to the budget realm when I want an IEM to just throw around and not care about it breaking or getting lost.
I agree with you 100%. The quarks DSP has great sound for its price but the cable is a mess. I was hoping the new tws of moondrop, the space travel would sound like. About the same price but without the messy cable.
@@JunJunMusumeThe electronic part (DSP) of MD Quarks was pumping my blood pressure erratically. It behaves weirdly when transitioning between songs, often it will introduces its own unrefined fade-in fade-out effects. And sometimes it does not. The sound is good no argue about that but the choice is clear for me: Amlodipine or gave it away.
Hey Dave- Love your aesthetic & views! What’s the name of the track that opens your videos? For me, Tanchjim ONE is a good beater set & I have to admit that the Tanchjim ZERO is fantastic for instrumental music and underrated overall for the price point. Both have a solid place in my rotation. I enjoy the Wan’er as well but find the long nozzle affects fitment & seal over long periods.
Have you ever listened to Truthear's ZERO RED? I compared the frequency response curves of RED and tanchjim one, and found that they are very similar. I wonder if they sound the same?
its sad to see that nozzle (width and weird angle) stayed the same... OG zero ripped my ears apart because it needed deep fit to sound the best. That being said if the one has the same amount of detail as the zero (mainly in the midrange/textures, I disagree with the idea of ,,being only avarage,, people are often confused and exchange ,,transparency,, with detail ,,retrieval,,)... Tanchjim implements some good quality drivers even to the their cheap segment and it can be heard.
Hello, my question is as a hobby listener, is there a need to pay for Moondrop blessing 3 almost twice as much as Moondrop Kato? Yes, they are really better? Thanks
They probably are better, the B2 and B2 Dusk are better IMO than the Kato, more technically capable, sounds more natural and better soundstage. One thing to bear in mind though the Kato will probably have more bass than the B3. It's a much warmer tuning with much more midbass. I haven't heard the B3, I do have the Kato, B2 and B2 Dusk. All indications are the B3 is a technical improvement over the B2 (which was already ahead of the Kato) but it may have too little bass.
audio, like everything in life, does not scale proportionally with price. everything has diminishing returns. is the b3 going to have better technicalities than the kato? yes. but not ‘twice as much’, if you can even quantify that.
Amazing video, but you start to talk about Waner or Whiner, i know its ur personal choice, but u cant really compare super warm with T One, better compare would be T zero....

Love the compact form factor!
I have the tanchjim zero and it is my favorite ultra cheapie that I own. I just might have to give this one a try

Can you list the sound tracks that you use in your video? They are sooo good I sometime just chill to them instead of listening to your review 😂
I do love me some treble sparkle. Might have to give these a go.
Very impressive for the price thanks for your review 👌

Thank you! Muita calma by Martin Landstrom. thanks for watching!
@@Audio-In-Reviews Thank you so much. I checked out the track & it sent me down a FUN musical rabbit hole of cool, lounge-y playlists. ❤️
Tanchjim one natural sound is true. I think it's so good👍
Thanks for watching!
Great comparison 👌🏼🎧🎶
can you put some timestamps on your videos? it helps a lot.
I've been looking for some bullet style iem's and for the price, these look decent
Please, may I know what song it is you use in your intro? It’s a vibe I can’t shake!
Hey who's better Reecho SG01 vs TANCHJIM ONE?
Have you ever listened to Truthear's ZERO RED? I compared the frequency response curves of RED and tanchjim one, and found that they are very similar. I wonder if they sound the same?
They COULD sound similar, but will never sound the same due to the different driver configurations. :)
Really want to give these a try though
Tangzu wan er still kicking. my favorite too
is it vented?
