I wish that I had lived your lifestyle back in the 70's. Now I'm an old fart with only 10 years or so left. What you and Phil do looks like a lot of fun. I've had a lot of tents in my lifetime. My parents always rented cabins up at Twin Lakes. Every year we did the drive over Independence Pass to Aspen. When I was 19 a Apache Indian friend and I set out for Alaska and the North Slope. We ran out of money before we even made it to Canada. When I started camping all I had was a summer weight bag and a cheap backpack. We were camping near the falls at Maroon Lake, and at the foot of the Maroon Belles. We made a lean to with a ground sheet and a larger sheet over us. It started raining 🌧 about 4 in the morning. 6 a.m. the top sheet filled with rain water and dumped in our faces. Can you say good morning? I knew you could...Lots of good memories and some not so good. I regret never making it to Alaska. Every year I say this will be the year. I don't think that it will be this year. I'm finally getting my hep C taken care of and one other thing that hinders me from traveling. Next year though I am not letting anything hinder me from going. Brian, I have a son about your age. So that should tell you about my age. I have had a good life. Alaska is going to be my last hurrah as far as adventure travel is concerned. Did I say that I have been to East Africa? I lived with the natives for a few days. Loved it. Loved the people. I love your show Brian. Tell Phil that I love his show as well. Take care my friend. Vaughn 🤠
Hi Brian and Sierra. I would say you are really getting to put your new tent to use in that snow ❄️❄️❄️ bless little Sierra I pray her cancer goes away , she is so precious ❤️ have a wonderful time in the snow ❤️❤️ and stay warm .
So scenic and beautiful the drive into town. Sorry Sierra is not feeling well. Keep doing all that you do for her. Good to see Baron & Elsa. Haven't watched them in while.
Certainly beautiful. My father was born in Colorado. And always missed it. Ended up living on East Coast., because of Great Depression. I’m sorry Sierra is not feeling well. Take care of yourself. Do you ever feel lonely or trapped when roads are impassable.
Love that kept that old truck. Weird how they hard to part with when they have been good to you. I cant unload my 2010 Nissan Frontier crew cab with 236k on the clock.
Holy cow thats an expensive plow! Yall 20 miles off county maintained road! 😱 someone should rig a lil plow on a truck and plow regularly. Stay warm, glad u guys got food. Hope u stocked up a lot
I hope Sierra is feeling better ♥️ I placed an order with Vitality Science & mentioned I’d heard about them from you. They went and watched your video and were happy their products were helping her ♥️

Beautiful out there!! How are you doing for wood? I don’t know how you keep wood going the whole time. I lit my fireplace to burn some mail I don’t like to throw away and it is hard work keeping that going!! Lol looking forward to the next one!! Hug that sweet girl for me! Have a great week! Love Cheryl and Asia
I always loved watching your videos. But I went through kind of similar problem my dog got hip dysplasia really bad and he was a child Shar-Pei mix so he was very talkative and he would cry so bad and I finally couldn't do it anymore yet so much pain I had to put him to sleep and I couldn't do it my sister had to take them I just couldn't do it and I hate to say it I can't watch your videos they make me so upset. Just watching what you gone through I catch him every once in awhile to see how you're doing and I know she's getting old Sierra like us all? But it's hard to see sorry about that. you just hang in there.
Love Monte Vista! Already planning my trips for this summer and I’ll be Jamming through there on my way up to Creede, Pagosa and Lake City areas may camp a couple nights at Rock Creek. Give my Love to Sierra

How far are you from town and Barron & Elsa's property?

I noticed that there isn’t any condensation from the stove heating the inside and the snow outside…or did I miss it?

How many people split the 2000?
Can we see the cabin your hanging out in?
Then there’s us spoiled folks that are irritated when the street maintenance people aren’t out first thing in the morning plowing the streets for us.

Current Chicago northwest suburban resident. 4 inches of snow over 3 days, now in for cold temps.
Not sure I could spend 8 days snowed in….

What does Serria eat?
Maybe buy a snow plow for your truck and earn some xtra cash? Being stuck for 8 days doesn't sound great.

Why does it cost so much?
U need a snowmobil
