American B737-800 Main Cabin Extra | Worth the Upgrade?

  • Continuing on from DCA, I hop aboard an American B737-800 equipped with their Kodiak hard product over to San Diego, California in Main Cabin Extra. I will be doing more in depth comparisons of American's MCE to MC in the future, but in this video, I wanted to highlight the B737-800's "Economy Plus" product specifically and if it's worth the upgrade. Thankfully due to my status with AA I'm able to sit in Main Cabin Extra for free most of the time, but I put that aside in this vid and discuss if I'd actually pay for it. The flight itself was a decent ride for the 49 minutes of flying time we had, cruising along the US-Mexico border on a very clear night. Hope you guys enjoy!

Great video, Chris! I can't believe you mentioned my elevator enthusiast friend of mine (Ryan Frisby aka Life's Ups and Downs), because me and him are elevator enthusiasts. But we love your videos. I might start doing planespotting in the near future. I would have to do it at CVG because my local airport (LEX) is very small. And for a 22-year-old aircraft, this is awesome! And I like the American Way magazine although they're gone because it had Louisville on it. Although I don't live in Louisville anymore. I would rather fly out of Cincinnati (CVG) for flight travel. Can't wait for the next video!

Also, I have found out that some of the members are a bit curt and a bit abrupt in their answers and they make you feel small. I don't know what is with these people?
Is it that some of them have a problem and feel superior? Not very pleased with some of these folks. It must be the military in them.
