Evening eyeing this one for a while - 2 things I am not sold on and cause significant uncertainty is that nearly all climate functionally is via the infotainment screen. I strongly prefer being able to manually and instantly change temperature, seat heating, wheel heating etc etc And my impression of the infotainment screen it self is really poor - honestly the only reading I’m not going to the dealer now. What are your impressions? How’s the experience of having to go into menus to change just about anything including power source and drive modes?
I have a 2025 T8 PHEV non-black. It does spread the electric usage ‘a little bit more’ if in hybrid and the car’s map knows where you are going. It will also give you a ‘least power’ route in the map to make your trip greener. The massage seats are amazing. Drive it I “B” mode to maximize electric brake capture, esp in highway commutes. If I really want to have leftover electric at end of my 40-mile commute, I put it in “hold”
Isn't it efficient? My XC60 Black edition (which I love more and more) averaged 8 liters per 100 km, without electricity and only on gasoline, over 500 km traveled. Yes... this for a car weighing 2,200 kilos... If it's not efficient for a gasoline engine... what is... Oh, and I can do 74 km on 100% electric.
I can’t wait for mine!! Production finished today. Due to arrive at the dealer on 6 Nov
Congrats!

Ahh, I never used the on board navigation. Cool feature though
I have a T8 on order. Does it manage hybrid settings depending on the route programmed in sat nav?
Surprisingly quick & surprisingly hard to get
How much should I have to pay for this in New Jersey ?
Good review m8 👍🏻
Great video, nice looking volvo
Nice review! Ordered one (not the blacked out model). 4 month wait time.
Oof. Great car though.
