I finally completed all of a character's trials for the first time in street fighter (for Manon) and I'm so happy.
as a manon main, good job. but also she has the easiest combos and the least in the game so… yeah

Combo trials in this game are probably my favorite. A lot of these combos are very viable in real matches and they teach you a lot of obscure stuff that you might not know about. And there's also flex combos which are unnecessary but really cool.
One example I can think of is that there's a ken trial which intentionally makes you hit the shinyu reppa shallow so you don't get the animation but it tells you to do a shoryuken afterwards. Essentially teaching you that if you don't get the animation for the super, you can still salvage it.
it shows you bread n butters and character unique mechanics and situational combos, it’s really cool because i find myself experimenting a lot while doing them on my own combos

@@spitfiremanlizerd yeah SF4 is a lot harder than SF6 combos,... there are only very few combo gods in SF4, compared to SF6 where everybody and even casuals can do it

J Wong really love putting challenges and decide do all trials of the 18 characters ( 20 to the end of 2023) of SF6, good luck during Guile trials that Nephew try it and fail.

i’m glad the first fighting game character i ever learned was a charge character (+R May). it’s like riding a bike it becomes second nature when you’re used to it!
My first charge was Leona in KOFXIII, manage to pull off her trials and eased me up doing trials for Vatista from UNIEL but so far the only charge character I've ever really played was Eustace in GBVS. No way I can play a charge character in a real match in a combo heavy game. Negative edge though is painfull too...

I always get a little bit of validation when Jwong says a combo is hard that ive beeen struggling with. Cant get past Dhalsim intermediate 12 lol.
Some of the combos were specifically made for hitbox, like guile trials and the last one for kimberly they are nightmare material

When I got the game the first thing I did was go to Jamie’s combo trials to learn the game a bit and have some fun, and I was so hype to complete it after 2 days of trying Advanced 5.

This trials are so insane! I remember myself struggling with the trials of UMvC3 and I couldn’t even complete all of them 🥲 you are awesome, Justin!
The fact that those are not only jump in combos or silly stuff like SFV makes the game even more approchable for me at the very least. I see something there and I can integrate this in my noob plays.
One of the things that I love is they added the option to slow down the speed to 50% it made things so much easier to get the timing of commands right. I completed several trials for different characters and I’m going to do more.
Just chiming in. I'm a Guile main and I'm just now getting into the game myself.. Guile's trials was no joke especially advanced #2. I had to search a vid on how to do it, and it still took me like 3 days to get the proper tech down for it

Tbh, I've implemented a lot of the intermediate combos into my gameplan. A lot of them are super optimal. The advanced usually isn't, it's just fancy.
I am so happy Honda is dominant. Sf4 days it was an uphill struggle. Now Honda has all the tools to be a champion.
Just finished giving up on the first advanced Lily combo because my hands got too tired and saw this in my recommended 😂😂

Street Fighter 6 is my second fighting game (played DB FighterZ for like 30 hours when it came out) and i really want to play Chun-li. So far all i've done is a little bit of World tour, the Chun-Li character guide and just grinding her combo trial. Took me 2 days to finally clear the beginner and intermediate combos xD
I'm scared for advanced and even more scared to try to hit a single thing i've learned in an actual match...
That last Ken trial took me *hours* lol

Im surprised I've never said it before, but this channel lets me watch one of my heroes on an almost daily basis. Someone asked me the other day what I was watching, they arnt into gaming so referencing "the parry" was no help.

And im ending to upload my SFV Trials,still have to wait for my ps4 game but ok,in SFV some are hard like you can do them in mid screen but you cannot do it,while you get to the corner try the same combo and you can get it very vey easy,but the thing is,no one want's to be in the corner in any game haha.

I’ve been struggling with the Advanced trial 3 and 5 for Cammy only to find out there’s a fucking difference with LP+MP and MP+HP I almost threw my controller

@@realchezboi Apparently there were two different versions of Cammy’s overdrive moves if you do light punch with any other punch you go higher but if you do medium punch with heavy punch you go further than the other overdrive

Quarter circle, then as you’re doing the second quarter circle, hit LP, K. Almost like a plink, but not quite. Once you get it, it’s not too hard

@@sonictelephone1526 it’s more like quarter circle forward, down, down forward + LP, forward + K. Try rolling your thumb from LP to LK as you’re doing the second quarter circle. It’s tough until you get it, but once you do… 🤦🏼 Keep at it bro! You’ll get it
