Can't imagine a world without Slipknot!
I hope you all get a chance to meet Corey at some point in your lives. Such a nice and cool guy! Really awesome guy to shoot the shit with!
Im a drummer so I was obviously zoning in on what Joey was playing throughout, but I loved the guitar part that runs from 20:10-20:26 & also the 16th note part that leads into the same part I listed above which comes in again at 21:05. When too much is going on between two guitarists, heavy part wise,it's sometimes difficult for me to pick out individual parts from a certain player,so getting to hear it in the type of setting they were playing it in helped it sound clearer in my ears.
This is how you become a great band like Slipknot. You put in hours upon hours of rehearsals.
@6:59 god damn i remember forking out about $50 for a VHS of this just to try & see what the guys looked like
Anybody else notice how there was more footage of them rehearsing and jamming together during Vol. 3 songs and time frame and then when the AHIG songs and footage it was mostly one to two of them with just the producers? It's kinda sad but with 9 people, all trying to create and work on one thing, tensions are bound to happen.
well for vol. 3 they actually recorded basically a behind the scenes documentary for it so that's probably why theres so much footage
Good stuff bro, a really great behind the scenes/masks video, Cheers.
Rest in Peace Joey!
I love Paul's studio clip. Awesome
