Sno Trac Testing First Time Out

A couple of members of the TFT-Sno Trac team took the prototype Sno Trac out to do some controls and performance testing. The machine never got stuck and had no breakdowns and we cant wait to go out again. Thanks for watching!

Fantastic!. I hope you guys sell as many as the original!. Electric drive would be nice too (diesel generator/ electric motors). Same weight, more efficient and reliable...

I noticed the large windshields. But the wipers seem to be slow and only cleaning a small portion. Needs to be reviewed. As someone else commentated, insulated cab would be nice. What defrost system is there for the windows. Final comment, a solid step rear bumper would be advantageous: back up protection and a possible trailer hook up. Keep up the good work.

Why is there so little footage of this?. You would think that new owners would post videos?!. You need to have better Gaz shocks on the front bogies, that would reduce hopping. Great machine!.

It looks like the drivetrain and engine placement are fairly similar on the m29 weasel. It wouldn't be too difficult to remove the cab of a Sno Trac and make one that looks like the weasel.

Hello! Sno Trac is a new and improved version of the 1950’s Aktiv Snow Trac snow machine by Lars Larsson made in Sweden. Sno Trac was formed in April 2013 to develop and manufacture a new version of the Snow Trac that utilizes modern components and newer manufacturing processes. This modern-day, emissions-compliant snow machine houses a Kubota diesel engine, a hydrostatic drive, and a single joystick operating control making it far easier to operate. There are no brake, clutch or throttle pedals. To operate, simply start the engine and utilize the joystick to control the speed, forward, reverse, turn, and braking functions. @@sno_trac Wenn ich richtig übersetzt habe, der neue Snow Trac hat hidraulische Antrieb, deswegen lenkt er kanz anders als alte ST-4. Ich komme ursprunglich aus Sibirien und dort haben wir auch selbs Snow Trac gebastellt. Das war vor 30 Jahre aber bin bis heute Snow Trac Fan. Danke das ihr legendere Trac wieder herstellen.
