Noraly from Itchy Boots is riding this bike from South America to Alaska. She is currently in Mexico, about to enter Calif. She says tires (rubber not wheels) can change the seat height by 5 cm. Her only problem is getting parts in Latin America for the 300.

@@jcheck6 no regrets at all. I like the 300 much more. The tranny and clutch are much better. I am happy with the non-rally version as I like to keep the bike feeling as light and nimble as possible. I don't moto camp. Most of the time we trailer to an area and go from there. I think if you liked the 250 you will like the 300 more. I did get the ABS version. I haven't turned it off even when riding offroad. A few years ago on a MC ride from Ohio to California, I rode (in late summer) across the northern border states and south down through Montana and Wyoming. Stayed in Red Lodge Montana one night. The next morning the ride over the Continental Divide was just unbelievable. The Divide still had huge “boulders” of ice on it. I’m taking that route again this year -I can’t wait to see all its beauty again.

It is as reliable as a hammer, she changes tires, filters, and oil and hits the starter and goes. Looks like you might’ve enjoyed lunch at The Blackboard Cafe. A great place to stop on the way back from skiing at Lookout mountain.

Watching Noraly travel the world is pretty great. I’ve been watching her since the first season! She’s in the US already.

Hello Juan, I love your flying channel, but now following you on your motorcycle exploits. I live in Jackson WY and have some amazing back country to ride here. Like Honda, but I am a KTM guy!

AWESOME TRIP! I’m just west in Spokane. The NP railroad depot is a must visit in Wallace if you had the time.
I will have to find your info on FB to check out more photos. I’m doing the WABDR in a few weeks. IDBDR is on my agenda for next year.

The Napolean reference made me subscribe. Fun video. I want to do exactly this trip on these bikes. So cool.

Sounds like a great trip, wish I was young enough to do a ride like that. There is another channel I follow "Itchy Boots" and it's a young lady from The Netherlands that rides a very similar bike. She travels around the world on motorcycles and is currently posting videos of her trip starting from somewhere in South America (Chile I think) to Alaska. Her current videos have her somewhere in Baja, Mexico.

Itchy Boots (Noraly) is an amazing gal. Smart as a whip, down to earth,
      and an epic world traveler.

Thanks for the tip on Avenza map apps, we do Jeep trail rides in the southwest and these maps sound like they will be very useful.

That’s a really nice set up Juan. My preference is for well kept asphalt and high speed corners, while my girlfriend has a Yamaha XT-250. Watching your video has me thinking: I’ve been doing suspension work on my CBR250R track motorcycle, maybe I should help Eva with her trails motorcycle…
