My Hawaiian spider plant and Golden Potho does this. I bottom water and top water because my plants dry out super quick by 4th or 5th day. I use my moisture meter before watering. My guess... is transpiration because the room they are in is quite warm. Thank you for this information.
Haha recently heard my uncle asked my aunt if she was a bit overzealous with watering, nope just an Alocasia dripping. The thing is though, here in NL not one plant shop talks or warns about this (probably nowhere), while plenty of people have wooden floors or other things they don't want to get wet. EDIT: A woman one street over told me she has visible spots on the floor now because of a dripping aroid she used to have there. No worries about that here luckily :)
Hi, Thanks for sharing you're uncle and Aunt's experience. Yes Alocasia definitely do this as well. Oh gosh, l never thought there would be so much water dripping to cause stains ! Wow! Thanks for watching the video and Happy Gardening ❤️
Hi Renee, Thanks for sharing your gardening observation. Gosh l dislike mealy bugs. Mealy bugs produce a sticky liquid. if there is an infestation then it will drip and that sticky liquid which can attract ants. I suggest you wipe all the leaves, stem and floor which it has dripped. Happy Monstera Gardening ❤️
Hi Deborah, your monstera had different colours of green. Sounds like you hit the jackpot of Monstera and scored a sports vagrigated Monstera! Congrats, its a beauty! Happy Monstera Gardening ❤️
