I just bought an Anthurium and this is the first time I have ever witnessed this. It made it sound like it was a bacterial infection of somesort one a website when trying to do research. But I have not seen anything on the plant to indicate that it was unhealthy. thanks for the video
Thank you so much for that information. In a different video you mentioned using Epsom Salt for indoor/outdoor plants. Is it safe to water my Monstera Deliciosa with it at least once a month? Thank you.🙏🏼
Dear X, You're very welcome. Epsom Salt gives plants magnesium. I would suggest watering with it a little less than once a month in potted plants, as you don't want the soil to build up with magnesium. I'd suggest once every other month. Outdoors in the ground is different, as the minerals don't tend to build up as they do in potted plants.
I’m having a problem with my diefennachia(dumb cane) and maranta, I’m losing leaves as I gain a leaf as well as my alocasia. Meaning once I’m gettin a new leaf the old ones are dying and it’s balding my plants. I checked the roots and they look white and healthy I’m not understanding please help!
Lakeysha Adamou, That's good the roots look healthy. Is the pot the correct size? You want one-third pot to two-third plant, so more plant than pot in the overall combination. Sometimes plants will not get root rot, but will react by throwing off leaves when the pot is too big and there is too much wet soil. Other possibilities are the water quality--if the water is high in chlorine or fluoride or salt. A pest invasion is another possibility, so look closely at the leaves, especially where they meet the stem. And lack of light will also cause plants to drop leaves. Let me know if any of these things seem possible.
Thank you!🙏 I always wondered why my pothos did this🤔 Only noticed it when it was a younger plant shortly after I got it🌱
Kelli Hillebrand, You're welcome. I'm so glad the video answered your question! :)
I get many of these droplets on my orchid flowers. Love it!
Sharon Holmes, That's great! And I'm sure the droplets make the flowers look even lovelier. :)
