  • in this video we are harvesting spring wheat for crimping, we are cutting with a massey 38 combine, 6499 on the mill, 3075 and 6290 on the draw, turning straw with an ursus 4512 and baling with the 3690 and fusion 2, other than the issue of the bar being to long there was no other issues and we had a good clean run at harvesting.
    Hope you enjoy, any questions hit me down in the comments below, thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe for more. Videos every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

    Hi, Phil! I like the long videos - we get a much better sense of your working day. There's more of a story for us to follow.
    One thing I noticed when you were speaking in the field with the combine was that your voice disappears when you turn away from the camera. The sound's great when you're facing the microphone, but if you look over your shoulder to describe what's happening behind you, it's hard to hear all of what you're saying.
    Would it be possible to get an inexpensive lapel microphone? I realise that your main concern is to get your farming work done and that the videos are a bit of an extra treat for us viewers, but you do talk a lot of sense and it'd be good to hear it all without having to strain... :-)

      Ursus tractors are such underated machines. The likes of the 4512 and the Mercury series are if anything better than the Massey 390/690 counterparts and have far better handling.

    • @jerryodriscoll3691
      @jerryodriscoll3691 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Whatever the horsepower is generally the PTO output is 80-90% of the horsepower at the flywheel, they're pretty much a massey so they should be reliable enough

    • @jerryodriscoll3691

      You would have a way more bulk in whole crop because of the stalks, probably similar feed value
