I loved the video driving beside the pickup machine. That was cool to see.

Sure seems you have a lot to remember. I can see how easy it would be to mix up hay. Spray paint sounds like a good idea. You film a variety of subjects which makes the channel appealing. Thanks for your efforts.

      Oh my goodness.
      1. What customer is loading what hay shipping out of state?
      2. What hay goes on my truck to what customer?
      3. What do I charge for freight?
      4. Does the squeeze need to go?
      5. Do we have a back haul?
      6. Do I need to pick up product for the Feedstore?
      7. What price did I quote that guy in TX, NM, NC, FL?…
      8. Fill out field load tickets.
      9. Determine hay quality.
      10. Pick which barn/stack to put it in.
      11. Make sure all vehicles are running.
      12. Help office fix problems.
      And the list goes on.

Bales, I’ve used a spiral bound notebook as a daily logbook for years. It only takes a minute or two to make notes. Or the next morning you completely note what happened yesterday. That takes 5 minutes. Also works for keeping track of employees on different jobs.
I’m so scattered and forgetful that this notebook is my only chance. Really comes in handy when billing 6 months later.
Thanks for the great videos. Hope All are Safe and Well.

I agree with you 100%. But I still forget!!! Then if I remember to write something, I forget some of the things I’m supposed to write!

Good job on the harobed ( Roadsider). I like that but also I like watching the swathers go down through the fields nowadays I can't believe how fast they go.

Have u ever looked at bale baron that takes little bales and bundles and ties them into a big bale? They are pretty sweet running machines they make self propelled units that pick up bales similar to your newhollands and a pull type one to pull behind a bailer

They don’t make those for the size 3 string we make.

Just watching the automatic bale picker upper, made me envious remembering all the hot humid days of loading hay in S. Ontario, by hand with a 2 prong hay fork.

    • @BalesHayFarmandRanch

@@BalesHayFarmandRanch oh okay. That makes sense. I’m sure there aren’t that many bales laying flat anyway to justify it. Oh, that was my first comment too. Been watching your videos for a year or so now. I work on a farm and have a little of my own up in Washington state. We raise alfalfa as well. Our growing season is much shorter than yours. Haha.

Some areas have either too much salt, or some areas have off soil. Who knows.
