Hello there I am in my eighties and live on my own, my daughter bought me an Air Fryer I was sceptical at first I love to cook but sometimes I just want something tasty and quick Cut long story short…I have tried your recipes and was tasty and yummy Now I have tried this salmon and green beans and I am certainly hooked On my Air Fryer meals….thank you 😉👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Green beans are easy to grow. I grew a few pounds this summer for the first time. I just used this recipe and my green beans are outstanding! Thanks! I happen to have the same air fryer.
Hey, I'm totally with you when it comes to garlic. The more the better!! 😀😀 Green beans is at top of my list of my favorite veggies. Also, I actually just really like my food well seasoned. I do not like bland food at all. The sides and veggies need as much love with seasoning as the main food in our meals. 😁😁Thanks again for sharing with us. Arlene
Hello! I was gifted the same air fryer you use. Tried it once with some chicken. Will try your recipe as a side for dinner today. Just happen to have every thing you used. Thanks for sharing your recipe and technique. Be Blessed & Be Well.!!!
I love it I just bought my first Air Fryer believe it or not, and I tried this recipe and absolutely was amazed how good they taste..I don't know how I did t get one sooner. THANK YOU. It needs to be stainless steel, though...Like mime it's a GOURMIA
Love all your recipes! Maybe you or one of your viewers could help me out. I got an air fryer for Christmas and due to health reasons I’m not allowed to use/have any cooking oils. Any suggestions for an oil substitute when making air fryer recipes?
Greetings Coit, question: I buy my green beans fresh, break up to serving portions and freeze. I’m a senior and live alone. Do I have to defrost before air frying or cook as is from the freezer?
@@cleanqueen75 how much broccoli r u putting in? i usually throw the whole bag in and it fills my 2quart air fryer bin. You could try turning down the temperature or cooking it a few less minutes.
@@cleanqueen75 you can put more broccoli in...i usually fill the whole bin and sometimes i just put half the bag. I airfry my broccoli at 300 degrees for 8 minutes. if you just filled the bottom, try 6 or 7 minutes instead
@@cleanqueen75sorry for late reply, but the original comment's author uses frozen broccoli pieces, which are partially cooked before freezing and packaging. If you precook your broccoli at a low temperature in the airfryer (or microwave/steam) before roasting, it'll be perfect. 😊
Just found your channel, my drew Barrymore massive aifryer just got here today so I’ll be cooking up a storm this weekend lol. But green beans are my fav BUT try out jalapeños salt! I grabbed it by accident and I’ve been in love ever since
Watching your channel has helped me to lose weight. I’m eating more veggies with my protein (meat). This crap keeps me full. I now eat veggies with every meal. Been using my air fryer daily now. Not sure how much weight I lost (no scale) but I noticed my clothes and underwear are a bit loose. TMI but I’ve been going regularly now and I love it.
Hi- glad you like the recipe! I have never used the Actifry before but it looks like a great machine. Yes I believe this recipe will work in it. You might need to adjust the cooking time a little but first try the temp and time I have in my recipe and then check on them halfway through the cooking time. Hope they turn out great for you!
If I use frozen vegetables do I have to defrost them first, or can I just air-fry them like this but for a longer cooking time? By the way, I guess this comes out great with broccoli too!
Hi- not as crunchy as fried in oil but these are the crunchiest you can get while still using less oil and having them be more healthy! Hope this helps :)
That looks good! You just kicked me um...to the delish zone! Always ready to taste new dishes! Doing the airfryer way!! Yummy, yum! Waving to you from south Georgia-land of best Peaches, boiled Peanuts, & Vidalia onions!🥘🍲🌭🌮🍕🍟🍿🥗🦐🍝🍠☕🗽🚑🚒🚓
Just a small correction; It's 370°F and not 370°C. I'm laughing on myself the way I kept thinking that my air fryer got less heat only 200°C, just my poor knowledge from an average person!! 😂
Maybe, maybe not. I’m getting ready to use my air fryer for green beans and I have a Corsair air fryer. Maybe each fryer is a little different? What temp & time did you use and what fryer?
This looks great but my doctor told me to stop eating salt. 2 or 3 chips will cause my blood pressure to spike for hours. Not good if you already had a stroke. I'm going to try this to see how it tastes without so much salt. That was more salt than I would be able to use in a year. Appreciate the great vid, made me hungry just watching.
Yeah you need to be careful when air frying veg. The fast moving air removes moisture very quickly. All it takes is 1-2 minutes to go from cooked to crunchy and dry! Using a sandwich tray is a good idea, it keeps the oil with the veg and adding water helps to steam. If your air fryer has shelves use the lowest one. I'll often place chicken above beans so the fat and juices fall upon the beans/veg.
The thing is if you are naturally a cook. You're gonna watch your food. You're gonna see what works best with your individual air fryer time wise. It really depends on how much you put in As in green beans As well as the air fryer size and brand itself. He's trying to help you take a little responsibility for watching and being a cook yourself.
I love when i look up a recipe and its exactly what i planned on doing. Confirms what I had planned and makes me more confident lol
Same 😂😂😂❤

Thank you!
Very little salt, no pepper and no garlic powder but good oldfashioned NUTMEG, amazingly delicious
Wow I love how ❤ you explain it
You’re a life saver. I wanted to ask a question regarding pan frying Tilapia fillet. How many minutes on each side and the gas mark?
These were great! Thank you!
Greetings Coit, question: I buy my green beans fresh, break up to serving portions and freeze. I’m a senior and live alone. Do I have to defrost before air frying or cook as is from the freezer?
Hi- you don’t have to defrost before you airfry them but you might need to cook them a little longer if they are frozen. Hope this helps!
I need the simple recipes. Thanks so much.
I eat these as a snack they r so good
Love that!
This was sooooo good. Air fry broccoli is also delicious
Doing broccoli I find it burns if I cook it long enough where it’s not hard.

So great to hear! And so easy right?!!
Just made a pork loin in my Ninja and mom wants green beans so I'm doing this with the drippings instead of olive oil. Nom nom nom
Thank you ❤🎉❤🎉
I’m gonna try that tomorrow, but they look excellent😛

I love garlic powder. Go for it!!!
So glad I tried this! Love it!
I added panko and it was amazing
Panko & Parmesan!
What about preheat time on the air fryer?
I’ve never pre-heated an air fryer, they have powerful fans that instantly heat…
Thank you
What kind of pepper did you use on this green beans? Thanks
Definitely will try....thank you for sharing....and thinking of asparagus too... will you make it another video with Asparagus ? :)
Hi- I actually have an Asparagus Fries video coming soon! I made them in the oven but you could make in the air fryer too!
Your videos are the best!
THANKS! FROM HOLLYWOOD FLORIDA!
Very nice recipe !!! Congratulations!!! What beans do you use, fresh or frozen ???
Hi- I used freash.
This is yummy for sure
This is amazingly easy to make. Thanks for sharing this. 😊

@@cookingwithcoit yeah I’ll let you know 😊

Interesting question. Have you test it?
Great video encouraging healthy choices, however, I'd advise shooting for a higher protein portion, second vegetable, and smallest for carbs. Enjoy!
You had me at “green beans “! My pugs & I eat them daily!
Do they come out crunchy?
This is an amazing recipe - delicious and easy to make. Thank you for posting.
Just been given loads of green beans from a student my wife teaches Yoga to, and this is the perfect way of using them..
That’s great! Home grown green beans taste so much better than store bought. Enjoy your meal!
@@cookingwithcoit What a great way to use my green beans and they were gorgeous, and make a great addition to a salad... Thanks Coit.
@@moorwalks glad to hear it all worked out! You are very welcome!
I loveeee garlic…. So we will be best friends 😂🥰
Yum yum!
I love your recipes. Especially for the air fryer. Fast and easy. Can you use frozen green beans in this recipe?
Did you try frozen??
not yet@@Java-Junky
Are they still crunchy?
Hi- not as crunchy as fried in oil but these are the crunchiest you can get while still using less oil and having them be more healthy! Hope this helps :)
shouldn’t you preheat air fryers before adding food?
Good stuff as always sir!
Thanks so much! 🙏🏻

Another question 🙋♀️- do you wash your new air fryer in soap and water ? I smell plastic when I cook some tater tots is that normal ??
I think you deserve like and subscribed
Aw thanks so much for watching!
I add Parmesan
And panko!
Is it not important to preheat the air fryer?
love your videos, but these green beans look like they need to cook....alot longer. i love southern style cooked down green beans.
you can also air-fry Bitter gourd slices, good for diabetes
That sounds great!
Good instructional video but need to cut down on the excessive gabbing.

thank you and keep doing the simple recipes - Im a complete idiot in the kitchen :)
At 370 degrees for 8 minutes
DON'T WASTE YOUR GREEN BEANS. PUT IT ON THE STOVE WITH BUTTER BRING TO BOIL THEN SIMMER
That looks like asparagus to me.
Wrong time and temperature. Mine came out overcooked.
Maybe, maybe not. I’m getting ready to use my air fryer for green beans and I have a Corsair air fryer. Maybe each fryer is a little different? What temp & time did you use and what fryer?
I love garlic but my body can't handle it 😩
hey lets try air fryer chicken feet !!!!!!!!!
Needs more garlic def
people just love to hear themselves talk. this video could have told us all we needed to know in half the time.
Sprinkle Parmesan Cheese on them. You’re Welcome.
I’ve never washed fruit or veg, I don’t know anyone that does. It is an American thing?

I was disappointed. The beans burned at your suggested time and tempeture

Boil them for 90 seconds and air fryer 5 minutes for better looking /textured beans
Air fryers vary, you have to adapt to your own appliances… Like with any oven recipe 🤦♀️
Jeffy: I hate green beans
Please to the point 😊
YOUR ALWAYS FORGETTING
You do too much thinking
Also blanching them in cold water makes them maintain their color
