I have done green beans like this for a while now. I haven't used garlic before in it, so, I'll have to try adding that. I saw another recipe video where they grated the garli,, so I tried it! You get a LOT more garlic taste that way!

French lesson: do not pronounce the "h" in "haricot" and do not pronounce the final consonants in either word. So you get something that sounds like "airy coe vair..."
What are your qualifications as a cook? If you're not trained, it seems like you're just a rich guy with a nice kitchen who decided to make a cooking channel.
Haricots verts is pronounced "ah-ree-koh ver" - the "h", "t" and "s" are silent 😀 I love them and can't wait to try your recipe. Bon appetit!

I would do it differently. I would parboil the beans, very briefly, saute the shallot and garlic, and then add the beans.
