Remember those days. I was a flight M1 on HMS Birmingham and remember that was the standard Lynx jollies experience for the crew. Seeing the Trimble GPS dancing on the dash and 500kg fuel contents which was the standard fuel load for aerobatics. Took one of those Lynx Mk 3 around the world on HMS Manchester in 1986. I doubt the Wildcat will ever last as long in service. All the Type 42 destroyers have gone now too. Good days.

Had a Lynx land aboard my Aircraft Carrier, USS Constellation CV-64 in 87. It was a very cool sounding and looking helicopter!
