last mein jo kaha kamal ne woh bilkul sahi hai- ke unhon ne Late great Sivaji ganesan aur Dilip kumar se seekha hai, i can definitely vouch for that you can see in his performances he is subtle and reminds dilip kumar and when his expressions and body does the acting it reminds of sivaji ganeshan so we can say kamal is the amalgamation of both styles of acting or both school of acting.
Me being a tamilian from the same city and from the same school i am really proud of him and my culture. That is the beauty of we south indians and tamilians in particular we can adapt to any culture any situation and still feel at ease unlike the north indians who are rigid which is not right. adaptability and flexibility is very much a trait that can define your personality.
What kamal haasan says may look a bit odd to people under 70 years. But ask people who dilipkumar was to people who are 70 plus and they will say that there cannot be an alternative to Dilipkumar as the best Khan.
