Dilip Kumar saab was an era from every angle. Be it acting, be it his vast knowledge in every field, be it his modesty. No showbuisness, no stary behaviour, no arrogance. Sachha gentleman. 🙏
Such legends are born once in centuries. what an actor, philosopher, teacher, artist and great human being he is.

Yes... This is Dilip Kumar sahab. One of a very few top of the top line Artist in the world. In my opinion as so called Goddess of Art in India, Devi Saraswati is very well alive and expressed in this artist’s acting. Art does not have any National or religious boundaries. Micro facial expressions along with movement of body, delivery of dialogues, and timings of when and how to say the dialogue is what makes Dilip sahib different. Khan sahab is Khan sahab. God bless him.

Even had he not been Bollywood's most respected star ever, here is a true ambassador of India. The sort of man you can entrust public powers to, & rest assured. No doubt he didn't have political interests, but this is the sort of person that the country's PM should invite to lead a Ministry.
Dilip Kumar Sahab is extremely talented actor. Unfortunately his talents have not been exploited fully in indian films. If given the right script, he can easily outshine any other actor in the world.

i have to admit this was one of the most intellectual interview of a bollywood actor i have ever seen. Im currently studying industrialization, urbanism and modernity at uni yet im very surprised that what he talked about in 1985 is widely taught today in unis on history and development of societies

Arjun rampal is a better actor than dilip kumar because arjun rampal won a national award but dilip kumar never won.

Ati Ullah I am not stupid but Dilip Kumar never won a national award but Arjun rampal has won 2 national awards and he will be remembered.National award is highest civilian award and Arjun rampal won it twice and Dilip Kumar never won it.

Dilip Kumar, like many others of that era, is steeped in literature. I have heard interviews of his contemporaries such as Pran and Manoj Kumar on radio and they had a similar ablity to recall and recite poetic stanzas. Sadly, the state of Hindi literature is such that India is bereft of any Hindi or Urdu poets of note now.

I listened his number of interviews . He is very well read person, unlike many others in cinema. He was an intellectual of a calibre. Loved by all. He was original in approach and had an excellent memory. I wish ,he had some offspring. Unfortunately we no longer hear him now.It will be a sad day once he is not be with us. He won hearts of people on and off screen.
