Q: Although he uses a special dough, did dough spinning start with real pizza dough that was used for pizza? In the 1960's I saw a pizza chef in a pizzeria window spinning dough. And I met someone in the '70's who said he learned to do it in a pizzeria he didn't say that the spinning dough was not used for the pizzas.
Justin is amazing! Not only very talented with pizza acrobatics, but he can make a great (edible) pizza as well. And he's a really nice guy too!

Makes me miss working at sbarros pizza in the mid 2000's. Pizza spinning does take some time to get down but its not that hard. The hardest part is not putting a hole in it

i find it interesting that he can spin anything but says dough is the hardest because i personally cannot spin anything except for dough
I can do stuff with nunchucks, but as my silicone pizza finally arrived I can use only few of movements I already do, spinning pizza is way harder as it seems.

How does it make the pizza taste any better though?
it actually does surprisingly. Handmade pizzas that are handstretched by tossing and spinning retain more air bubbles and have airier texture than pizzas with air squeezed out by a rolling pin.
