I remember seeing a variety show where they had contestants from both Produce 48 and Produce 101 on it who said they could tell as soon as they got there that the show was rigged. "Certain trainees didn't get filmed at all, and other trainees got followed around by cameras the second they arrived. It was pretty easy to tell which ones were going to get picked."
I'm fairly certain that was Idol School. Because they also talked about how those trainees would get advanced information about songs that would be used as well as choreography, so it would seem like they were more advanced when really they'd had a leg up on their competition. Idol School was INCREDIBLY shady, and it definitely didn't help Fromis9 since the group was already floundering before that information was revealed.
@@trogdorthe8thidol school was the first showcase of mnet’s blatant xenophobia as well, mainly towards natty. Ofc this has continued into every other show they’ve done, particularly Pd48 and Gp999/Bp999

@@trogdorthe8th idol school was literal abuse 💀 keeping them in dorms with paint fumes, interviewing them well into the night until they said what they wanted them to say, starving them etc. i'm surprised they weren't sued for everything they had but then again this is korea.
@@asskayzac I was talking about them showing stereotypically attractive people more than other girls, but u are right in another way. That's not a "privilege" anyone in their right minds would enjoy.
THIIIIIISSSS @15:12 it always made me SO mad that Produce had the audacity to make "fun" of the japanese members yet used the "48" trademark for their series. Bc let's be honest, the reason why pd48 was so succesful was bc of the akb48 girls, without them it would've been just another (boring) season
I'm still amazed that they didn't tell the Japanese contestants that they would be part of a survival show for Produce 48. I remember a couple years ago watching a popular compilation video of the Japanese contestants reactions while being on the show and the comment section was just a battle zone between K-pop and J-pop fans going at it. Of course, it's hard to prepare for things when you're told at the last minute.
The Takeuchi Miyu main vocal part was heavily edited to make her look greedy for the position despite not having the capacity to do so. Hence why they never showed her hitting the note on the live finale. The same episode, Eunbi was also struggling with the high note but they made it look like a fun bit how Chowon is just singing "Madewa" over and over while Eunbi is failing to hit the notes. When they make these types of edit, they usually would do a follow-up resolution next episode what happened when a trainee is struggling, (i.e. Eunbi, same episode, they resolved it with Chowon sharing the note with her) but in Miyu's case it was left hanging. That should be okay but the timing was very bad for her because despite ranking 4th on the last elimination, it gave an impression that she's was selfish and lacks the talent to sing. This is in spite of the fact that this was the first time on the show she attempted to aggressively fight for main vocal position. Only because she wanted to pay homage to a grandparent that died in Japan while she's filming in Korea. PS. It's also a running gag online how little screentime she got during the show's airing. "Finding Miyu" became a thing online that's why she climbed ranks. The evil editing was their only chance to rig her out so they did it, because giving her less screentime did not work the way they wanted. They even edited out her passing out during one elimination episode because they don't want her to gain sympathy from viewers. PPS. MNET also did not show that she gave her lines to Jo Yuri and Haeyoon during the finale!
THIS!! Aside from the nasty miss of the final shot of her, why didn't they showcase how miyu share her parts despite being a main vocalist? See how eunbi got all the dish and left crumbs only for others but not with miyu's team. Like she just wanted the high notes to pay the homage to her late grandpa. Why they heavily editted her like that!? God I'm so pissed.. this case still got me so emotional whenever this came up
@@lan__2688 i am still mad. miyu never really fit the prototype of the idol they wanted to be part of izone that's why they gave her that poor treatment

I know so many trainees just want to debut at any cost and I know these shows can be great exposure / act as a foot in the door to the music industry. I couldn’t imagine, however, going through the stress of being on the show, and working SO hard every day to maybe debut in a temporary group. I assume they go into it hoping to just start their career and see what happens later. But imagine giving your all to a group sacrificing your freedom, time with family, etc. for a group that might last a year? I guess there is hope that you might end up as a Wonyoung, Chungha, Somi, Chaeyon, Sakura, etc. who make careers in other groups or as a solo; but this is so difficult. I give a lot of credit to these girls who work so hard for their dreams I definitely don’t think I would be strong enough. 💜💜💜
There are ways and there are ways. And the KPOP industry has more wrong ways than right. The industry needs to evolve and stop manufacturing their artists. Also fans need to stop placing such high standards on them. I know it’s a little random but I didn’t know how to word it ahaha.
@@lexiea1123 that’s true I think the companies are to blame for the root of some of the scandals by paying off the networks/producers etc. to get their trainees more screen time, more votes, and/or to be a part of the final lineup. At the end of the day it’s a good look for the company to have successful trainees; plus we all know once an artist debuts, they can spend years just repaying their trainee debt especially if they aren’t a huge success right away.
@@SBBunny93 the training system still needs to exist to develop the artists talents, but it could definitely be less harsh as far as schedules, diet, etc. especially since so many of trainees are minors. Netizens will always be super harsh and critical which totally sucks and I also wish that would change but that change is gonna come slow if at all 💔
I will never forgive them for how they treated and used Baekho (Kang Dongho). As if evil editing him while he was going through anxiety (up to the point where he had to be taken to a hospital) was not enough they rig him out, then invite him to produce a song for PD48 and then let trainees in 4th season perform his own produced songs. The audacity of mnet
Honestly you should’ve also discuss GP999 since it’s just Produce under a different robe nothing else. The amount of effort MNET makes into evil editing non Koreans and giving so much bias into Korean trainees is just another way of MNET to rig the show.
@@sappyzap bribing from starship and other companies was confirmed. they don't have a set lineup from the get go but they have favorites and obviously wanna push certain people. during the last batch of trainees they def have a lineup in mind and some backups
I also hope people understand that this is just a public version of what actually goes on in companies. It literally is a survival show for trainees every day. The thing that makes K-Pop specifically K-Pop is that entire industry structure that the show is copying. The only season and only group that seemed the least manipulated was the first one and the bar is pretty low lol, but they should have stopped it there. The reason why IOI didn’t have as dramatically stellar post-group careers group-wise comparatively when looking at following groups was because they were the prototype. They served as a blueprint and companies learned how to play the system and people got greedy seeing the success IOI was able to achieve. The only thing that changed was people became aware when the show and companies slipped up.
To add something to 9:27, this was the reason why jurina dropped out, there was a sousyenko at the time and jurina fainted and never really came back to the industry
There’s one gossip that i think shouldve been included in the iceberg and thats the rumour abt starship trainees supposedly being given the songs and choreography to one of their stages ahead of time (that one episode with the U Got It stage). Kinda make sense since minhee said he practiced all the songs before being assigned to his song. (No shade to minhee or starship trainees at all. Minhee is my cravity ult 👨🦯)
You can honestly see the pattern that the show started heavily rigging on season 2. There's an episode in all seasons where the contestants name the most attractive trainee in their season and if you watch the first season, you will not be able to pin point which trainee they were talking about because of how little screentime they get. Like sure she's pretty but who? This started shifting in season 2 where the handsomest trainee is also a popular trainee. This went on on the next seasons as well and you can see it well that most of the trainees in this visual lineup ended up debuting in the final lineup.
True . season 2 park jihoon i didn't feel like he can consider 1 there were lot of visual better then him but traniees pic him most also minhyun i dont think he is more handsome then his group member choi minki Only baejin young lae gualin senho were real visiual among them Jung jung , hankyan minki were also handsome but no one pic them
Sobin really saw his chance destroyed by false information. Makes me so mad that people harassed him online and send him hate when even the person accusing him said themselves that they were not even sure if he was really a bully. At the end of the day, every of his teacher, sport coach/teammate and classmates defended him and they bullying case ended up being entirely false. I'm happy that he started a wonderful acting carrer
Sad that all people seem to remember about post I.O.I is the groups flopping "except for WJSN". Might I remind y'all Pristin were on track to be big yet disbanded prematurely to no fault of their own. They were sweeping rookie awards left & right (I think they had the most for a post group before ive & lsfm came long), had pretty good sales having the most successful debut gg album in 2017, and their music show performances garnered millions of views...so much lost potential. Anyways, ONE thing for sure I.O.I dominate in is the solo careers. I mean they have THE "big 3"; Somi, Sejeong, and Chungha. Somi is the by far most successful having the most followers at 16M+, the most streamed debut album at 400M streams on Spotify, the only 4th gen soloist with 3 mvs surpassing 100M views, a global ambassador for luxury brands like Prada & Louis Vuitton AND has global campaigns for each brand under her belt. (She endorses several other brands as well, even being nicknamed "CF Queen", but I would be here all day if I listed them all). Anyways, I could go on & on with her really. It's a shame she's not promoted more frequently as her last cb was all the way back in the fall of 2021... definitely not crying... Next, Chungha who has by far the two most popular solo songs "Gotta Go" & "Snapping" which went mega & I mean MEGA viral taking over 2019. They earned her 13 music show wins combined (got her 14th win with her latest comeback, the most total wins for a produce soloist), has several bonsangs among other awards, & her first full album, "Querencia", won a kma which is said to be the korean version of the grammys. There's also the obvious impact her music and style has had on idols who debuted after her and is highly respected as a dancer. Lastly, there's God Sejeong who went on to debut with an all kill (the only post produce debut song to do so) and to this day "Flower Road" is still being covered/talked about + the phrase "walk down the flower road" itself has become a staple for all idols. She's also found great success in her endorsements & variety show appearances. And ofc there's her acting career which has been her biggest success with her latest drama averaging 10% and earning her multiple awards including best actress. Mother has also been nicknamed triple threat AS SHE SHOULD! In conclusion, stop dog piling on the I.O.I girls. Music wise, yes, all the groups besides WJSN failed but how did yall expect them to succeed when their companies were stupid & greedy & neglected all non-ioi members?? Good marketing can make or break a career. Also, I may not have gone into detail, but the other 7 girls are doing fairly well for themselves with most choosing the acting route like Mina (Hotel Del Luna with THE IU), Chaeyeon (My First First Love, The King's Affection), Nayoung (Flower of Evil), Doyeon (One the Woman, Jirisan), & Sohye (critical acclaim & awards/nominations for film Moonlit Winter). Or have mainly focused on music like Yoojung who debuted as a soloist recently & Jieqiong who also acts but the amount of OSTs she's done is impressive to say the least.
These people never give a flying f about post-IOI groups. It shows by how they just parrot the same thing over and over and gloss over any and every achievements the IOI members had and have. The post-groups were also the first of their agencies (jellyfish with gugudan, fantagio with weki meki, by some extension, pledis after a long while with pristin), i.e, there were no guarantee that even with the popularity of IOI members that they could carry their respective groups. Even more so when these agencies bicker the entire time IOI was active to pull out their trainees, down to the last concert. Serve them right, jellyfish, pledis, starship, and mbk. Starship succeeded but let's face it, they didn't have plans for Yeonjung and her addition to wjsn was last minute. Their PDs were also found guilty during the voting manipulation controversy.
Tbh i still can't figure out what is going on with weki meki, they should have been doing decent but they're not. And people still despise pledis because of what happened to pristin. And to be very efffing honest i was salty at gugudan because they had to take sejeong & mina when they could've waited
Actually here the most popular post careers of each season as of right now (mostly based in Korea) 1. Chungha, Somi, SeJeong, Chaeyeon, WJSN 2. Kang Daniel, Kim Jaehwan, Park Jihoon, Minhyun, Yoon Jisung, AB6IX, Cix (not as popular as they used to be though same with AB6IX but I think CIX lost more fans), Kuanlin/Guanlin is a huge actor in China 3. Ive, LesseraFim, Yena, J Line 4. Kim Wooseok, Woodz, Cravity, WEi, Drippin
@@C0-0 I mean yes but when the accident happened at Produce x 101 a lot of news came out that companies, including Starship, were paying for their trainees to finish in the final ranking...

I'd just like to say I really enjoy your in depth, almost documentary like, content. I know it must be a lot of hard work but just know you're very much appreciated!!
honestly south korean government needs to be very strict with labour and minor protection laws. I despise seeing young teenagers debuting in a group and then sing very suggestive songs with sexual moves. The culture of everything being available asap right here, right now isn't good. Because that also results in 20 hour workdays. That whole industry is like a factory and magic of art is slowly disappearing.
I loved Season 2 of "Unpretty Rapstar." Watching Yezi from Fiestar treat the show and everyone involved in it with the utter contempt that it deserved I will never forget.
I'm still upset with mnet especially when I found out that one of my top picks in pdx101 which is kim sihun was robbed so bad. He was supposed to be the first center of X1-MA based on the contestants but Mnet suddenly changed the criteria for that center. Plus the discrimination on the stage set
He was????? I remember him being one of my favorites but it felt like no matter how much people supported him, he could never quite break into the group of contestants that got defining screen time moments. It didn’t matter how skilled or talented he was, he would just be glossed over. God that’s so damn frustrating
i remember being so annoyed that mnet suddenly changed the criteria for center. i always liked that the entirety of A class were given an hour or so to come up with their own performance to the title track, and then all the trainees could vote on the center, and then to suddenly change it to choosing from only 3 trainees doing the regular choreography? i did not like that change
Very robbed and it felt like nobody knew him. BDC ended up having 3 fans (and the 2 were me and my other acc) despite them having great songs (easily the best discography in kpop) and talented members. Consider checking them out if you havent, although they disbanded this year.

Boys Planet will not be rigged in the same way Produce was. Because if Mnet does something like this ever again, they can never to Survival Shows again (by law) which would mean a huge lose of income for them. Moreover very powetful people were arrested for rigging and the new people in charge know that that could happen to them as well. They won't risk things. They will however manipulate the viewer to vote for Mnet's fave. Something they are very good at and which is completely legal.
Oh no worries! The final lineup has already been made even before the show airs 🤣 mn*t is a big company, a little bribe here and there wont hurt them. The arrest made after pdx101 was just a facade bcos the scandal blew up publicly. Companies pay big money to get their trainees into the final lineup so yeah

While P48 drew wonders to (some) of the 48G Girls’ lives & career, I kinda hate how it also created this mindset that J-Idols are the “untalented” bunch of girls. What you see on the program is the definition of idols IN the 48G’s system: idols you can meet, from zero to hero. There are many idols in Japan that debut with high level talented girls. The AKB48 groups are unique, they are great but NOT the representative of Japanese idols.
There are a lot of 48g members who are talented that did not joined the show tbh. What you see in the program doesn't define 48g. 48 group is somewhat expect the unexpected.
Many of the 48G girls were from some specific agencies (FYI All AKB48 members and SG members are not of the same company, even tho they're on the same group) AKI-P went to specific agencies first instead of asking the whole group, Therefore securing some members for the 48G in case big names like Hitomi, Jurina, Sakura, Mako, Juri, Miyu, Sae, Miu and other won, So that the JPN48 they belonged to still had an ace (Nana, Sayanee, Sasshi, Yukirin, etc.). It was probably rigged from the start because remember it was supposed to be 6JPN/6KR until second chapter when it was changed given Miku and Jurina left. I think AKI-P original deal was to boost AKB popularity in Korea and make some unknown JPN48 girls know to JP General public, In a way to boost back AKB as the competitor to Sakamichi46. The trauma i have from this series not the mention the one the contestants must have... wish everyone falsely eleminated from the show could get proper compensation but it's sadly something no amount of money can ever make up for
as someone who was a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE X1 fan the byeumful era was insane :( she was a crazy x1 anti who was a huge stan of one of the members who didnt make it into the group (by9 i think was their unofficial group name?) and she was a big reason behind x1 disbanding. she translated articles from anti x1 pages, spread petitions, and spent alllll day arguing with us and wanting to get justice. like get a fucking life man and i swear i remember hearing about who the rigged members of x1 were, maybe it was from an unofficial insider source? Idk.
I dont know about this person because I was 11 years old at that time but I remember people wanted X1 to disband because produce was rigged😭 they couldve been a really powerful group tbh same with by9 if they ever debuted they could be the jbj or rainz of pdx101 (also nice albedo pfp)
Don't know if it was This courtcase... But Baekho (Dongho) later from Nu'Est, started a courtcase too, and rightfully so !!! Because the whole show was manipulated and he was supposed to be in totally different place( rank) but came suddenly in a lower place. That's when he knew, things didn't add up. And this wasn't the only point... Many things were wrong here. Also for others. Anyway, he won the case! 👍🥰
We could have baekho jr and minhyuk in 101 but mnet messed with the group It was pretty clear especially with jr and how he was always at the top 11 until the finals, same think with samuel I think it's just mnet strategy to get more audience and shock everyone but it didn't go like they planned
as entertaining as pd101 was to watch, I'm glad it inevitably had its downfall. it was just too messy all around. mnet is trying to recreate it with gp999/bp999 obviously but I don't think it'll ever reach the same hype level that the produce series did.
I agree, especially when the performance clip already shows up, very tempting to watch. They're entertaining sure, but it should've been fallen down from the beginning. I think the way PDX was rigged so bad that it was caught up was the breaking point. Despite the debuted group still ended up popular (for very temporary period), they don't reach the same as they peaked before.
Ive also always wondered how sakura was favoured so much. Most of the i thought that her performances were deffinetly worse then the others and yet she still made it. I love the sakura in le Sserafim just not in produce.
sakura was favored so much on p48 because of her popularity in japan and china. she have a very big fanbase internationally. they intentionally used her to make the show more popular than before.
The same thing that happened to Yabuki Nako and Tanaka Miku, happened again this year in boys planet, to Yutaka, Toui and Hyo. And not only that, they gave the boys 0 stars because something happened and they werent there (it wasnt their fault), they never aired or posted the song only the dance practice with all 6 of the members, and set the other 3 members up because they are all japanese and had to learn the other parts as well, but Yutaka ultimately carried them in the dance practice and they wouldve been better thats a L for mnet since Yutaka is really really talented, but he got 0 screentime
Sometimes I wonder how the members who know that they got to the final lineup because of their company pay M-net feels. Like do they feel guilty or anxious throughout the whole promotion ?
one must be really tough in joining the music industry :(( so sad to see how the show affected the mental health of the minors, they deserved better :((
i wouldn’t say any of the post wanna one groups (well there’s only 2) and soloists are struggling, the soloists are doing well for soloists since soloists usually don’t do as well as groups, i wouldn’t say their careers will ever live up to wanna one but it actually doesn’t bother me at all because they were part of something special that can’t be recreated but if we compare them to post ioi careers they’re doing significantly better, probably the most successful group being nu’est who became one of the best selling groups until their disbandment i wouldn’t call that curse, i think the curse followed the ioi members for the most part only wjsn did significantly well, and the post iz*one groups are doing exceptionally well with the soloists doing fairly okay
Ah another ignorant one. IOI’s soloists & actresses blows every other seasons away. You can be biased but don’t try to paint an inaccurate picture. Ugh
This show has the list of the final members that will end up in the lineup from the very beginning. It is comprised of trainees by middle to big companies. Pledis paid tons of money in this project to seal the spots for atleast 2 of their upcoming girl group. That is why they went so much in debt that year.
I think a much better term to use what he was aiming for is “reality moe” - reality show meets moe anime. I think you should look into moe shows, though they involve a lot less conflict. Honestly I wanna do a video essay analyzing some Kpop survival shows as “reality moe shows” and how they differ from fully fictional ones. Of course I’ll dive into the dark side of them, as the “cute girls doing cute things” aspect is merely a facade.
Thank you so much for bringing this video!!! I always thought a lot about the Produce Series and their theories, but this video brought a lot of other aspects I’ve never imagined 😱 Keep going!!! Fighting!!! Love from Brazil!!!😘❤️✨🇧🇷
Healthy pornography and the lyrics of "Pick Me" in S1 is so disgusting. Not to mention they're styled in school uniforms singing "Can you feel me" "Can you hug me tightly"?????? Add the fact that some were minors... Ew. Just so gross. I can't actually listen to that song anymore, or any of the "Pick Me" variations. It's disturbing. Young boys and girls begging people to pick them? Genuinely wtf.
One thing more it's the Go Yujin curse. It's when before the last round with the original song, the one who gets price has the center of the song gets eliminated in the next episode, same happen to Huh Jiwon and Doah in Girls Planet
They would give people they don’t like little footage but will give people they like extra footage. Like when they went to Kepler Dyoung house. A footage that have nothing to do with the show.
That miyu clip still get me pissed even until now. Whatever theories fans have, whatever reasons that mnet came up with, they were just obviously being dirty. I remembered I yelled aloud back then when I watched it live. If popular members or at least korean members got that part, they definitely wouldn't do that nasty miss. I'm so glad that that nasty pd nim got caught.
sasaengs should be blacklisted from the industry. i don't care how much time passes or how much they've changed, you can't take chances with criminals like that
I have seen both Chinese and Korean produce idol and in my opinion Chinese is much better they give spot light to alot of participants I could remember alot of them even who got disqualified as compared to korean
All in all, I was never really for these kinda shows because it’s just traumatizing minors and exploiting the trauma on manipulated, superficial television for all the country to see. Just seems sad. Glad it ended 😕
These shows should be discontinued. The trainee's already have a company and they may already debut in that company and some of them are already in groups!
The show’s director, producers and boa (older people) are so abusive towards these young people who come in with high hopes and self esteem just to be torned down by the same along with the outsiders. I never liked boa’s arrogant aura, she’s not a humble person and thinks her 💩 doesn’t stink but fails to realize she’s the same like the rest of us human. If you have insight and discernment you can see through people just by reading their hearts whether it’s good or bad. I’m so disgusted, perverted people. I feel so bad for these kids.
Brenna, yes and I still find it appalling, they could’ve found a different way to go about it. Emotional scars leave deep disturbing psychological warfare wounds of oneself, that’s why the suicide rate is very high in Korea and these so called adults should know better. Shame on them!!!

Idk if everyone will agree with me but shows like mixnine, boys planet and i-land are really worth waching from the beginning till the final episodes, the ranks announcement are pretty logic, unlike produce series where u get shock by the final lineup and how strange it is I just feel sorry for the trainees that were robbed from their spots

Of course, it's hard to prepare for things when you're told at the last minute.
so true :/ and they got bashed for being untalented ??? like ?
and they had no translator
I swear, Produce 48 had a lot of secrets lurking out there especially with their Japanese participants.

I noticed how you showed Somi during the section about the “Pick me” centers when she wasn’t even eligible to be the center. The center was Yoojung
True . season 2 park jihoon i didn't feel like he can consider 1 there were lot of visual better then him but traniees pic him most also minhyun i dont think he is more handsome then his group member choi minki
Only baejin young lae gualin senho were real visiual among them
Jung jung , hankyan minki were also handsome but no one pic them
Sobin really saw his chance destroyed by false information.
Weki Meki had as popular of a debut as Pristin and even bigger album sales during debut.
Their PDs were also found guilty during the voting manipulation controversy.
ioi we’re such a good group with such good songs.. even today ppl don’t tend to put them in the “ best music “ convos when it comes to produce
Funniest thing is that post WannaOne and X1 groups/soloists are flopping too but people only focus on I.O.I for some reason
Tbh i still can't figure out what is going on with weki meki, they should have been doing decent but they're not. And people still despise pledis because of what happened to pristin. And to be very efffing honest i was salty at gugudan because they had to take sejeong & mina when they could've waited
The fact that 4 out of 5 NU'EST members participated in the show broke my heart as a ㄴㅇㅅㅌ
the way i gagged when you said they were working 20h a day

"every trainee sought out the center bc it almost guaranteed debut" lmao poor ling junyi(on produce china) got the center and didn't make it
Man really said he wanted to make "healthy p0rn" with full confidence while knowing how hard the whole process was for the people involved. That is actually incredibly disgusting holy shi--
The trauma i have from this series not the mention the one the contestants must have... wish everyone falsely eleminated from the show could get proper compensation but it's sadly something no amount of money can ever make up for
as someone who was a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE X1 fan the byeumful era was insane :( she was a crazy x1 anti who was a huge stan of one of the members who didnt make it into the group (by9 i think was their unofficial group name?) and she was a big reason behind x1 disbanding. she translated articles from anti x1 pages, spread petitions, and spent alllll day arguing with us and wanting to get justice. like get a fucking life man
and i swear i remember hearing about who the rigged members of x1 were, maybe it was from an unofficial insider source?
👍🥰
We could have baekho jr and minhyuk in 101 but mnet messed with the group
It was pretty clear especially with jr and how he was always at the top 11 until the finals, same think with samuel
I think it's just mnet strategy to get more audience and shock everyone but it didn't go like they planned
as entertaining as pd101 was to watch, I'm glad it inevitably had its downfall. it was just too messy all around. mnet is trying to recreate it with gp999/bp999 obviously but I don't think it'll ever reach the same hype level that the produce series did.
I agree, especially when the performance clip already shows up, very tempting to watch. They're entertaining sure, but it should've been fallen down from the beginning.
I think the way PDX was rigged so bad that it was caught up was the breaking point. Despite the debuted group still ended up popular (for very temporary period), they don't reach the same as they peaked before.
from the 1st episode i already knew these kinda shows were rigged. manipulation, favoritism, screen time? i felt bad for the “leftover trainees”..
Yoon Seobin is doing so much better as an actor ! so happy for him
Ive also always wondered how sakura was favoured so much. Most of the i thought that her performances were deffinetly worse then the others and yet she still made it. I love the sakura in le Sserafim just not in produce.
Japan needs a horse in the race and mnet made sure to keep everyone tuned in
sakura was favored so much on p48 because of her popularity in japan and china. she have a very big fanbase internationally. they intentionally used her to make the show more popular than before.
I’m glad Parkha seems to not have given up after everything that happened to him in Lucente and Produce when debuting in NIK
One of pledis biggest mistake, I see.....
I’m pretty new to this channel, but I never expect a soft voice to come after that intro. It’s a nice twist
I think I kinda get what he meant, that it was like addicting in an aesthetically pleasing way, but still, his choice of words was disturbing
I never watched Produce, because I knew I would be sad watching it. Like what if I liked a participant and he wouldn't be in the final line up?
I also can't believe that I've JUST REALIZED that one of the purposes of Produce48 was to mock/humiliate the Japanese.
Was waiting for your upload 😭
Healthy WHAT!? 🤢
“Former members are cursed and never reach popularity again afterwards”
Wonyoung, Yujin, Sakura, Chaewon: am I a joke to you?
Man, this is gonna be a long one. I can't wait to grab some goldfish and enjoy it.
A footage that have nothing to do with the show.
the show must be cancelled for the simple reason that it was created. Absolutely disgusting
I'm sorry but the amount of bullying and sexual harassment scandals baffles me. Like damn don't they check their trainees background?
AleXa🥺still pissed about those 4 votes😤
All in all, I was never really for these kinda shows because it’s just traumatizing minors and exploiting the trauma on manipulated, superficial television for all the country to see. Just seems sad. Glad it ended 😕
AHHHH im so ready for this video!!! ty for another amazing upload T_T
It bothers me that grown adults sleep in bunk beds with minors 🥴
welcome to the military/dorm life
@@sotabaka dude what that’s not wrong they’re competing with each other
These shows should be discontinued. The trainee's already have a company and they may already debut in that company and some of them are already in groups!
Lmao this is really 'midnight theories', its uploaded at midnight where I live
The show’s director, producers and boa (older people) are so abusive towards these young people who come in with high hopes and self esteem just to be torned down by the same along with the outsiders. I never liked boa’s arrogant aura, she’s not a humble person and thinks her 💩 doesn’t stink but fails to realize she’s the same like the rest of us human. If you have insight and discernment you can see through people just by reading their hearts whether it’s good or bad. I’m so disgusted, perverted people. I feel so bad for these kids.
U do know the show is scripted and edited right 😂
Brenna, yes and I still find it appalling, they could’ve found a different way to go about it. Emotional scars leave deep disturbing psychological warfare wounds of oneself, that’s why the suicide rate is very high in Korea and these so called adults should know better. Shame on them!!!
Idk if she's a good person or not but it's funny how you focus on her when she's just an Idol lol you can be hating on the one that says he created the show thinking about porn and her sisters and stuff🤡
Hey August I think you’re seeing red. I don’t hate that’s such a strong ugly word like jealous, envy etc. I said never liked because she’s SM and supposedly supposed to be an example and this is not the 1st time her demeanor has failed. I know why I said it and you can say whatever you like about me I love who I am, I’m not insecure or sensitive to other peoples thoughts. So go for yours.
@@dohseyes5744 I didn't really said anything about you good or bad lmao I didn't say you hate her either read again I said that you CAN be hating on those men that were behind making decisions that hurt trainees but you take your time to hate on her particularly that call my attention the way you take my comment also call my attention it's funny that you said that you're not sensitive and the other things saying that on a comment? You just end up looking the opposite lol
Small correction. Lai kualin/Gualin did debut. :)
I am done with any survival show since X1....
me too, the way they disrespected x1 was astronomical
My rbf will not survived an hour with those evil edit
16:13 Somi working the audience like it’s a wrestling storyline lmao
Congrats on 100k 🥳
24:14 IM SORRY WHAT 😨
Idk if everyone will agree with me but shows like mixnine, boys planet and i-land are really worth waching from the beginning till the final episodes, the ranks announcement are pretty logic, unlike produce series where u get shock by the final lineup and how strange it is
I just feel sorry for the trainees that were robbed from their spots
