It's kinda infuriating to see the most vehement contempt about prostitutes is coming from people who are supposed to respect Maria Magdalena. But Stromae achieves to paint a fair and respectful portrait. You're seeing some dictatorial regime à la Eva Perón, I also see Gaddafi women's guard, but there are so many other international references : the Russian general cap, Pakistanese parade troops... and many other I didn't identify.

So apparently the chorus is the son of the sex worker, the first verse is a client, the second verse is a pimp and the third is a cop.
