The resolution and the textures got pushed to 4K if you’d play on pc with settings set at 480p it would look way worse . It’s internal 5K and recorded at 4K and I also used the widescreen patch
Isn't this 30fps gameplay though, why record and upload as 60fps? All the 60fps 'codes/patches' for this game break animation speed and gameplay as well as looking janky.

Always loved this underrated game. Spent ages replaying it when it originally came out. The two-faced thing and ghosts were so freaky and the generally dreadful atmosphere is so memorable. Richard Braintree’s teleporting, glitching ghost has to be one of the coolest concepts in the series. Thanks for uploading this in 4K. Enjoyed watching it back again :)
I remember completing this game with a walkthrough printed out from someones geocities website. It was my second horror game ever and it scared me too much to play without it. Still my favorite SH game.

He came to mine, folks were away, we locked all the doors and windows, curtains down and told ourselves we play until we finish. 8 hours of nerve-wrecking experience, I remember how cathartic was getting through the door in the end. Eileen died, we finished the game, friend went home and I waited til dawn as wouldn't be able to sleep. What a vibe. It will be 20 years... 😂

This means that Cynthia (16/21) started haunting the otherworlds just before or just after Andrew's (18/21) death. Means that Richard (19/21) was still alive when she already turned into a ghost. It shows that souls of the victims are really stuck in Walter's Otherworlds and it turns them really fast into violent beings.

One of the games that Konami f*cked for being the greedy bastards they are. Had they let it fly on it's own, unrelated to the SH series, it would be remembered with *a lot* more love.
Got about an hour or two into the Eileen escort half of the game and came to watch the rest on TH-cam instead. Didn't realise how close I was to the end but couldn't take it anymore. What an unbelievable time waster this game is. It's like they got to the end of the game, realised it was too short and then just made you play it again from the start for the sake of game length. So much potential, horrible execution.

If any Silent Hill needs a remaster, it's this one. I suffer from panic attacks in crowds so in a way, I really can relate to the story of The Room.
