We have many people in life we say friend but a friend is a person who actually understands you but than you always make happy not sad but now world is full of people but not a single true friendship every person deserves a true friend in life
As far as I am conserned .....a friend to me is a person who keeps contact with me at least every day once a week at most once a month max .........(no contact no really friend)......all about contact....
How come when you're younger (Like as a kid, say) You can make 'friends' way easily? (sometimes) and when you're an adult, you have no friends? (Like me) Why is that? Is it because, people change? Like, every five years and we become the person we are supposed to be? Or did our values change? What was good then, isn't so good now?...Help! D:
Kids are straight up about their feelings. They have no filter. If they like something, they say it with passion. As I got older I got really fake because I was afraid of saying what I like. It’s so nice to have that one person u could just let go and be yourself.
We as adults become more skeptical and sometimes the quiet children become very assertive when the extroverted kids can become skeptical. Our world sucks
I'm still learning on what is a friend even after all these years. People around me don't make me feel comfortable. I was bullied for so long that I avoid talking to people. They just stare at me as if they never seen a boy before. I can't tell if they are a good person or a bad person if they are hiding their true intentions. They could say mean things to you when you lose a game. Are they trying to be a friend or are they just acting it? I still don't know. I'm always on guard around people

As a rule of thumb I normally give it one year before I consider somebody as a friend or not I do like how I already apply a lot of what was mentioned in this video already and there were some other good points that I learnt from to
Can a man be a friend of a woman? I'm a 49 y.o. woman, made a friend who was a 64 y.o. man, and felt good in his company, was authentic, he was too, thought the age difference would rule out any inkling of romantic vibes, I mean surely that would be understood!, but then I found out later that he had hid something from me. I mean maybe men don't discuss their romantic relationships with women friends, but still I felt like I must mean a lot less to him than I thought if he hid this from me. Then two more times this happened. He went away on holiday without telling me, one was out of country. I have since given up on this potential friendship and it makes me sad as it was the only one. He made me feel like a woman on the side, saved for later, for just in case, not a friend at all. Well there was a woman too but she ignored my email so I guess she doesn't want to keep contact. She was so friendly at first, off puttingly so. But now, she seems leery of me. : ( So, no friends here. Nobody I vibe with.

The concept of friendship has always been lost on me. I'm a transactional kind of person and I don't trust anyone at all. I wasn't always that way.
