I swear Rainer is loaded, it'd take me 5 years of eating cup noodles for dinner and saving every cent I could just to afford ONE of the guitars in his collection, and that's not including world class tutoring by one of the best acoustic guitarists out there. Needless to say, I'm jealous as fuck.

When you learn directly from the master, one can't help but sound a lot like Don. Seriously well done!

The chose of speed in my opinion is a lot better to appreciate every frase in that wonderful song than in the speed Don Ross originally plays it. Very well done 👍🏼

Wow!! Unbelievable cover of Michael, Michael, Michael. I've never heard on seen anything like it other than from the fingertips of Don Ross. I like how you incorporated your own style with keeping it true.

Refreshing to hear an albumn cover at around the original tempo! Overall - great. Expect more from this kid.

Thunderous and precise...(Rainer's playing and the guitar itself) Match made in heaven.

Amazing cover! The slower pace really gives those harmonics space to ring out.

Rainer that was fascinating! I truly enjoy watching and listening to you play. The richness in the sound of that guitar is beautiful too. Well done young man!

Rainer Newmann is amazing. He has a channel where he covers Don Ross and Andy McKee songs, and I think he actually plays them better than Don and Andy themselves (blasphemy, I know). I can't wait to hear some original music by him.

Hey Rainer (or anyone who runs this youtube channel), my name is Grant. I am a musician and a producer based in Boston. I would like to upload this video to my facebook channel and release it there, and of course link back to the original video and whatever websites are appropriate. I have about 60K followers total on my personal pages. I do this regularly with other artists in this style and usually get between 100K 200K views in a few weeks on the video, as well as several thousand people clicking through to check out the artists. (or in this case, the luthier as well) Would you be willing to let me do that? And if so, what are some links that you'd like posted with the video? I would also like to talk to you Rainer about the possibility of recording some videos of you for release through my channels. I think you're an awesome player, and I'd love to help you get some people knowing what you can do. Please let me know your thoughts Rainer, or Greenfield dudes.

Hi Rainer, just found your channel by watching this video, and I can see you are a very talented guitar player. But im wondering, how did you learn this song? Did you find tabs, a friend taught you how to play it or did you learn it yourself by listening? Cause I wanna learn this too so much, but I need tutorials or tabs. So, hope you can help me :)
    thank you, new sub ;)
