Jeep YJ Sitting for 9 years. Will it start!!

- Bought this jeep 2 years ago and the guy told me it hadn't ran in 7 years.
At the time I was interested in only the frame so I didn't care about the engine. Now the wife wants me to get it going for her. Its got big problems, watch to see if I get it to run.
I had major trouble starting my YJ, 91, four banger. Installed a new fuel filter, dropped the tank, new fuel pump. Still no go 😅 Went to the junkyard and purchased a rebuilt ECM, fired right up. Also, removes the plastic fill tube in the tank. Added five more gallons to the fuel capacity. Now, half way through the RC 4” lift. Will replace the water pump soon after completion of lift. Will try to get my courage up to install limited slip.

Can only imagine amount of rust on cylinder walls. Hahah. Wow. Probably won’t last too long
you may be right, it did turn over with just a socket on the pulley so it may not have been too bad.
The negative remarks are probably a weird form of encouragement?
Really is cringe worthy hearing that starter wind for too long....It needs fuel !
Its a cringe vehicle, the starter is the cheapest thing to replace. Did you watch till the end?
