It is objective, varied range, varied rapidity, requires holster draws, and strong & weak one handed shooting. Anything that helps in either speed or score I keep. Anything that doesn’t goes bye bye. If the comp helps, then 👍, otherwise 👎. Besides, maybe the P365 being snappy (which I agree that it is) isn’t because the comp isn’t doing its job, but rather that the recoil spring is letting the slide bottom out. I am getting a DPMS spring kit to see if that helps. So far, I keep coming back to my Beretta PX4 Compact Carry. No fancy comp, but it just makes the qual easier.

The whole idea of a comped gun is to reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil and that is best demonstrated by rapid firing and at the minimum double taps. So he’s really the only one that did it correctly.
Great video! You make a lot of great points, one specifically I think needs to be highlighted is everyone is a little different. A preference might not always reflect in enhanced performance in my experience, sometimes you shoot something you don’t prefer as much better. Whats your thoughts on these comp carry guns possibly causing shrapnel injury when fired at retention/super close instances? Given these are carry guns, firing at very close range (to you as the shooter) would be a possibility in a given situation. Is the trade off with shooting flatter bigger than the chance of losing an eye in a gun fight? (all-be-it better than your life of course but still....carrying a non-comp/ported gun wouldn't have that chance).
@ClassicFirearms You' re missing four guns that are compensated from the factory and 50 state compliant. Shadow Systems Corp DR920P (G34), XR920P (G19x), MR920P (G19), CR920XP (G43X) I'd like to see any or all of these firearms in your next factory comped/ported head-to-head line-up. Please and thank you. P.S. The MR920P is my daily carry in case you were wondering.
If the ONLY thing we want to figure out is how well a gun is compensated and negates muzzle rise, grid paper and high speed cameras are all you'd need to measure which one does the job better eliminating all human variables.
What's the difference between the comp on the sig and the glock it's just a port built into the slide at the end of the barrell it's the exact same thing just the comp is integrated into the slide on the m&p and on the glock it's just an aftermarket attachment that's just put on the slide. 🤣🤣🤣 yah, because the LIGHT was the only advantage of that decked-out custom comp Glock.
The Glock having a comp instead of port doesn’t compromise velocity 💯
I’ll keep my sig macro-x comp. Favorite pistol I have. The fit in the hand is what I’m after. Compared to a hellcat not even a bit snappy.
Sig has 3.1 inch barrel. Not an equivalent comparison. Show me any gun with 3.1 inch barrel that isn’t snappy. However, IMO best EDC on the planet for the money if your hands fit it and not bothered by a “snappy” firearm. 1.1 inch wide, perfect grip, weight and balance. with 17 round mag extension. Easy to conceal.
@@raymicciche8869 My comped 3.1 inch Shield isn't that snappy at all.. ;) The Shield is probably the smoothest shooting out of all the micros
I love when you do multiple gun comparisons. Keep it up!
The New S & W carry comp. is the SHIZZZZZ!!!! & I'm a GLOCKTARD.....FANBOY....GLOCKTARD..... GLOCK IS KING!!!!! but S & W outdone their self with this one.....IMO
Jason is trippen
Such a dumb policy that because you can't sell it you can't mention the guns, PSA Dagger Micro and CR920P deserve a spot. Do better CF.
These videos are just long commercials man
fn 509 cc edge should have been here…
Dude, they can’t mention every single gun there is out there. I’ll be honest with you, these are some of the biggest names and the most commonly mentioned. That’s probably why these particular firearms were chosen.
@@SirClicks. i don’t have anything against the channel i’m just a fn “fanboy” it’s personally my favorite brand i also figured there choices might have something to i with price i believe the fn is way more… and i don’t get the complaints about the dagger it’s almost a off brand glock
@@SirClicks. No if they don't sell it, they don't mention it. Ever.
I have a gen 4 Glock 19C, so they do come from the factory compensated. I also have an X macro comp and shoot it well.
I like Jason but I think he just burns through the mag as fast as possible. If he’s a great shot while doing that then by means keep ripping it. But I think his whole criteria is “how fast can I shoot it.”
The whole idea of a comped gun is to reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil and that is best demonstrated by rapid firing and at the minimum double taps. So he’s really the only one that did it correctly.
I wish the RDP got some love on these channels, gun is great for carry
Great video!
You make a lot of great points, one specifically I think needs to be highlighted is everyone is a little different. A preference might not always reflect in enhanced performance in my experience, sometimes you shoot something you don’t prefer as much better. I shoot the g19 and X macro a lot and they’re my main two carry guns. And for the record I shoot the X macro a hair better for some reason unbeknownst to me. Really like them, I’m definitely intrigued by the new smith as well as some other new smiths! 😅
M&P have really stepped up there game.
The macro is definitely not a comp, also wanna say I’m very glad you’re taking over the lead for classic firearms TH-cam Kaya you’re doing a great job!
How is it not a comp?
Another Banger
I love everyone’s insight & HONESTY
I prefer the compact.
I’m not gonna lie I’m loving my shadow system MR920P
Haven't had the pleasure of shooting a MR920P yet but my CR920XP is nice!!!
@@kennyfogleman4042 once you get your hands on one you’re gonna love how flat it shoots.
Omg she's back. Second video in awhile. You gotta do those compatation videos again with the guy.😊 We miss you
@ClassicFirearms You' re missing four guns that are compensated from the factory and 50 state compliant.
The DR920P is my favorite striker Fired Gun. Longer But very light.
The smith and Wesson in the metal frame is an absolute tack driver.
If the ONLY thing we want to figure out is how well a gun is compensated and negates muzzle rise, grid paper and high speed cameras are all you'd need to measure which one does the job better eliminating all human variables.
I carry a 43x with a Harrington arms comp, runs flawlessly with oem spring
Good for you. Thanks for sharing.
Kenzie is good people! Met her at Kalash Bash 2069.
That was such a fun event!!! I can’t wait to come back!
@@ReticleUp heck yeah!
What about the Sig p365 with the radian afterburner ??
This video proves that there is no better gun, just guns that are better for you.
Why not have the shield plus comp to compare to the Hellcat and Sig?
What do yall mean by snappy? Like kick up, it going back to zero, ect?
What's the difference between the comp on the sig and the glock it's just a port built into the slide at the end of the barrell it's the exact same thing just the comp is integrated into the slide on the m&p and on the glock it's just an aftermarket attachment that's just put on the slide. But it don't see why that would change anything it's the exact same thing.
Great video, thank you
A Glock with a afterburn/ ramjet and a light on it while everything else is stock is bs
And still lost
Why not Sig Spectra Comp instead of the X-macro?
Awesome 👍 Please do a similar video with 45.
What about the shadow system cr920xp?
Good stuff!
Of course the Radian shows up but not the PMM, which reviews out says its better and cheaper, also go figure no Shadow System XR920P Elite, cant say best if you all can do all the work.
I carry 1 of 2 depends its either my Cr920 Elite or my custom built P365
The CR920P, CR920XP, MR920P and XR920P need to be compared to them!
Should have used the shadow systems new comp instead of the glock aftermarket setup
Should have included the Hellcat RDP also.
Shadow Systems CR920XP for hot summer days. Otherwise, XR920P.
I've had my eye on that Smith!
A better comparison would have been the comped CR920 and comped shield w the xmacro and comped hellcat. Then a comparison of the comp carry smith vs the comped MR920. Glock shouldn't be here until they produce a factory equivalent.
You started off with MP which I'll watch a grande thumb rerun, good luck with that
Should have used the 19c glock it has a built in compensator
I like my Hellcat Pro and was toiling over If should grab the comped version or just get mine ported
Smith MnP always impressing 😮
Does anyone know what glasses Kaya is wearing ? Thanks
Best is the Shadow System CR920XP
You mean The DR920P .Longer but very light .
@@gentrydebbie1040 No I meant the Shadow Systems CR920XP it is the Glock 43X size with a comp. DR is the Large size pistol
@@mikeh7203 I knew i ws kidding i have the DR920P It is bigger and longer,I need to shoot a smaller one You have to Break in a Dr about 200 RDS of Hot ammo .
