Your decorations, as always, are enchanting. What better way to decorate a paper witches castle than with chic adornments! My mother had a receptacle for smoker's remnants which she called a "silent butler." So many of your art pieces caught my eye this time. The roses reminded me of the thorn bushes the evil fairy grew around Sleeping Beauty's castle, and the broom is truly wonderful. Your mantle warmed with the candles and pumpkins is welcoming and comforting and the butterflies overhead allow the imagination to soar. All in all, a fantastic way to say Happy Halloween!

Thank you Helen:)) I have a large walk -in closet in the bedroom and a lot of closets everywhere , to store seasonal decors is not too difficult for now but maybe in a few years after 10 years of creating seasonnal decors I will have to find solutions, for now I have enough to store everything my ceiling is very high I have a closet with an even higher ceiling like 4meters high which I plan to organize at some point , and unlike a lot of ladies, I don't have a lot of clothes and very few pairs of shoes so it frees up space for other things... Thank you for your sweet words !

Your lush fabrics are so beautiful, I imagine hearing the swish as you drape it appropriately. Layering the fabrics only co.ples adds the decor. I adore your spooky storybook style, and I agree with you 100% that real candles are far superior to those cheap battery powered ones! I used some of the plastic ones one year, the batteries went dead after one use and the cost to replace the batteries would've been more than the whole candle cost lol 😏 I buy the emergency candle tapers (just plain white tapers) in packs of 5 for $1. I love reading by candlelight and having lots of candles burning...a room doesn't feel alive until a candle is glowing🕯🖤 I find your vlogs so inspiring!
Yes these batteries are quite expensive actually... yes candlelight brings so much magic and enhance the beauty of our decor at night as no other lamps or fake candles can do on top of that the living room here is 3°C warmer with the candles lighted and Clochette appreciates that very much....:) Totally true the room gets alive as it always had throughout the centuries. people worry too much about candles...keep using them. I use glass bobeches at the base and /or votive cups to handle the candle or hurricane globes over them...but...honestly, there is nothing like the magic of a candle..the mrs. widow of bigjacdaddy

THOSE beliefs are completely detached from Abrahamic religions. It is it's own spiritual family tree and has NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY FIGURE from Mesopotamian mythology.
Pre-Christians European celebrations and traditions are part of the HERITAGE of western civilization. Monotheistic Abrahamic religions are what was IMPOSED upon people by invading people who decided that their god just happened to be the only god that counted.
