I have combed through google looking at papier mâché art and you're the only one that showcases the honest texture of paper throughout your creations (so we see that it is paper). Other artists disguise the paper so that it looks like anything except paper: clay, wood, ceramic, etc. Your approach shows a deeper appreciation for the medium, like woodworkers who want you to see the grain of the wood in the finished product. I'm not saying it's wrong to make the paper look like something else, just that your approach shows the delicacy of the medium itself and that makes it so magical and I 'am always biased toward magic. I know your fans/followers share my sentiments.
Thank you Melissa for this very beautiful compliment, and very interesting thoughts, I never thought it this way myself, but it's true I cannot hide my passion for paper ;) and don't like to use other materials, wouldn't know how to use them anyway...

Hello Laetitia, once again such a lovely vlog. Hello too to sweet kitty too. You surrounding area displaying your plants and flowers are so pretty. I see there is soapy water with the roses? OMGosh Alice's doll house is amazing. How fun and whimsical it is with her within the walls...lol... love it. And with the with the Mad Hatter Hare? in chimney. Love the detail work of everything, I caught Alice sporting those pretty patterned fingerless gloves with roses on them! It's so nice that uour jome has tall of ceilings. How wonderful to be able to hang things high up on the walls.

I'm so happy for the ealier opening for the Halloween workshop, I will be on vacation but couldn't go anywhere, so it could be a very nice project to tackle!

The dollhouse is beautiful, love the rabbit coming out of the chimney (almost like Father Chistmas. The plants on your balcony are looking beautiful. I'm always amazed how quickly your pieces sell. D
Thank you Katie, the plants and flowers on my balcony are not very happy these days, attacked by a lot of bugs , will try to take better care of them in august. I'm very grateful to see this interest and passion, especially when I remember my first 8 years when hardy anybody cared for my artwork and it was really hard to be noticed..

Oops! Forgot to say that I saw the Golden Age dollhouses in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, last week - have you seen them? They were mesmerizing - as yours are, of course!

I'm super excited to play with it this year, and I have a lot of ideas ! we have pretty chilly weather,this summer... it seems in England too, candles are back a bit sooner , I already had to light them several times last week, it always change the atmosphear of the room..... @@Merveillesenpapier Nous les peintres avons développé notre propre immunité collective... contre l'eau de nos godets ;-) En revanche, à l'école l'un de nous avait bu sa térébenthine et ça c'est une autre histoire...

I must be too late to enter the Alice In Wonderland small dollhouse workshop? I have been away and just getting a chance to catch up on all your videos. So sad I missed this workshop.
No you didn't understand well or maybe heard what I said it was not a workshop, Alice Dollhouse was a piece I create for my shop and sold.
