Thanks Tom! you brought me some nice memories from Old Quebec in this video. I was over there in 2012. I walked all long that ways you walked too. If you back down the harbor (Old Port) that area you will find a museum there. Also there is a Marina with a Naval museum too, and other nice things to see around there. Quebec City was a French Fort. If that Fort wasn't there, most likely there would be no Canada. The French kept the British from advancing further north. If the British had beaten the French, all of Quebec and Ontario would be part of the USA. . The castle like hotel is Château Frontenac Hotel, the Citadelle of Québec. I love the video.
Thanks man I knew those cannons was put there for a reason I wish I can see what the cannons was pointing at the video I seen was a side shot of the black cannons lined and mounted to the ground.
The cannons are aimed at the river St-Laurent because in the 18th century it was used to defend the rest of Quebec from invasion by the sea, it as done it's work and was supposedly pretty effective, even repelled 2 attack from the british colony of new england!
