so basically you can play hollow fragment then lost song at this point in the story line, but basically the games are an alternate timeline from the point of the fight with heathclif, and is basically a what would of happened if aincrad didn't end early, i honestly prefer the games timeline over the original

A lot of the music was done by Sawano, who is just a god. Made soundtracks for every type of anime, good and bad, and the sound is so iconic it's probably familiar to every anime fan. Every element of a story has to serve a purpose, while real things often just happen. In a world where we can /make/ anything happen, we must ask "but do I want to spend my time watching?" and "what did that accomplish, that something less disgusting couldn't have done?" Like we didn't already hate Sugou from the first time we see him in the hospital. One of SAO's fundamental sins isn't that it's a saturday morning cartoon of good and evil, action and adventure; it's that it doesn't realize that and play to its own strengths. I would love to watch that show. In fact, I did enjoy Aincrad. Instead, SAO thinks it's a dark and serious show about dark and serious subject matter. It's distasteful and unnecessary, and out of genre, but boy howdy, is it sure going to keep happening. Every season.
I can't forget that moment when Sugu tricked in VR (Where Lefa bite his hand by Kirito) and Reality (Kirito: Turn around for a sec.) How poor Sugu hahahha
I was gonna say, this episode's plot is literally a doujin where they cut before the, uh, graphic detail. Complete with 'her actual loved one is ignorant of what's happening' for that extra... spice. Sheesh.
The blobs guys being a couple of creeps in the game most likely are creeps in real life :3 As for Leafa i don't know if things will turn out okay for her in the next episode as now hearing about someone called mommy and then how Kirito reacted thus, the next episode is going to be something to see then =OwO=
One was a creep because it's only a game. The other called it out but what they are already doing has gone too far. Only a brain. Torture is only a nightmare, an experiment. If accidents happen they can just rewrite your mind. So anything else is basically nothing.
Yes you should play the games they are amazing, but there are characters from the 2nd season so you should wait till you finish the 2nd season too :D This Episode is an emotional roller coaster for sure and it only gets more emotional from here on out!
You should hold off on the games until you watch season 2. Also season two was a bit of a let down for most people, but if you can stick with it then season 3 alicization is a huge step up.
You need to watch atleast the second season before playing the games there’s characters you haven’t seen yet that appear in all the games

Yeah, Asuna was very close but she slipped up by wasting time assuring the trapped players that she'll save them.
