Was ghosted and later found out he's marring his ex. What a jerk. Most of the time u feel that u didn't do anything wrong, IT'S HIM. He's hiding something from you.

At the age of 41 I am experiencing ghosting (proper ghosting) for the first time and it’s not fun. The worst thing about it is the confusion and immense disappointment of going from the highest of the high to the lowest of the low. It’s also painful to think that this person has now ruined what was about to blossom so irreparably it’s just never going to happen now. Makes me want to stay at home listen to music and stare at the wall waiting for this yuk feeling to pass.
Thank you! Going no contact with someone who ghosts and ignores you is not about getting them back! It's about removing them from your life! Work on yourself for you and your future partner, not the former! (What killed me is watching one of your videos talking about how most or many relationships end? Ouch!)
True love is unselfish, it's about wanting what's best for the other person and not focusing on your own wants and needs and when a relationship ends, it's usually best because it was unhealthy to begin with and toxic as well. Most people are clinging to the past and not understanding that the relationship couldn't survive the various stages after the "Honeymoon" was over. If they Ghost you, you Ghost them, plain and simple :)
Well, you probably can't technically ghost them in the same way but you just make sure you can't be traced by them as if you've dropped off the face of the earth if there's anyway they can find out about you. They are doing this to manipulate you and just don't fall for it but chasing them or asking about them with any mutual friends.

@@jackbravo2172 why would they even care to trace the person they ghosted? The left, because they no longer cared, grass was greener on the outside, took us for granted, or whatever! And I believe a slow fade is selfish and cowardly. I don't believe he would care how I am doing, and at this point I would not want him back. But I would not try to contact him.

@@ManoloPluas Why would she change her number? Unless she had reasons to suspect that someone will harass her, she doesn't need to change her number. And you would not need to be friends with an Ex. It would be emotional torture for yourself listening to her talking about her new boyfriend while you are still hoping to get back together. And it would be unfair to her too, pretending to be her friend when in reality you are only sticking around hoping for another chance.
In doing research, I found out that my emotionally immature Ghoster is a Dismissive Avoidant. Learning this helped me tons but, I still think talking about it would help me process it.

this video really made me think about my situation..... the more i study and get better with personal development the more i ask my self should you even take back a person who made you feel little and had depression / bipolar and ghosted you after you paid 13k to move down south for her dreams with her and gave up your dreams for hers.. ( 5 year relationship ).. Getting to the point where i dont think i want them back because i dont need to be treated like that....

If she's hasn't slept with you and it's been 3 years, she's not into you. No exceptions. If a woman is in love with a man, first of all, she'd never Ghost him and she will want to have sex with him. Many of us respect ourselves and won't necessarily jump into bed with a guy until we know he cares for us, but if it's a dating situation, we'll have sex within the first few weeks or months. If it's a religious situation and we are waiting for marriage, etc., we will be very clear on that. You won't have to wonder about it. It sounds like this guy has been in the friend zone from the start and was confusing it for a relationship. I've been ghosted. It's brutal and as painful as the death of a loved one. Never Ghost someone. It's the most selfish, cowardly thing someone can do to a person that cares for you. It's ok to send a goodbye message at the very least, but a mature adult will at least call that person to say goodbye. The men who have ghosted me always tend to either orbit my social media until I finally block them or they eventually try to come back. They always come back when we least expect it and are typically over them by that time. Ghosting is completely disrespectful and shows that they simply do not value you. Don't make the mistake I did and give the Ghost another chance because they eventually Ghost again. As hard as it is, cut your losses, delete them, delete their number, block them on social media and start working on your self-respect. The right person will move mountains to be with you and would never hurt you and if they do, they'll make up for it and never do it again.
As for the woman and the married guy, oh Hell no! Been there, done that. He told me he was "going through a divorce." She eventually found out about me when she saw our emails (it was a long distance relationship) and she saw he'd been lying to me from the start, so she then did divorce his sorry ass! He used me for money several times, ghosted me, then got remarried and reached out to me 7 days after his wedding saying he missed me, etc. Yeah... Never again. If they'll lie to you about major things like being married, they'll lie about everything else too. Never give a man who lies a second chance.
My question is why the ghost wasted so much damn time on someone? Why did it benefit them after 3 years??

Oh Jesus. If she did take him back she would be going thru the mental torment of obsessing over who he's with when he's not with her, and always questioning his authenticity. In my experience, people that skilled in lying, are so proficient, that they keep flipping the situation and you eventually start questioning your own perception and ignoring your own intuition. He's hasn't been honest the entire relationship. People have patterns. He has 2 kids. She has none. Id hate for her to want children of her own and (worst case scenario) not be able to have them because 'he' has HPV or something and gave it to her. There are 7 billion people in the world, there is no way she is only compatible with this one. Be angry, stay angry. As someone once wisely said to me; "The only thing you can trust a liar to do, is lie".
Oh yes, the love of my life lies about the texts he gets from a particular female friend. Also the phone calls. He says shes just a friend, but he for sure hasnt told her about me. I love him, but i hate his lies.
I had a similar situation as the first one. I dated a girl for about 1-2 months. Everything was going good until she finally became distant. Why? She said she was too busy to talk, but i'd see her active on social media so i realized that was BS. Eventually, she stopped talking to me period so i broke up with her. I see now she was scared of being intimate, vulnerable, and committing to the relationship but didn't have the courage to tell me.
The second story just made me grateful , I have been kinda ghosted partially since a month n a half, whoever you are woman , don't give him second chance. Be strong. And I thought my story was worst. It just gives me strength to go on n luv myself

Its been twenty-two days since I last heard from him. He was all so into me but he was so sick and talking about doctor's appointments, after that nothing. I'm so broken up about it, scared and hurt at the thought that he died because I don't know what happened. I'd rather have him tell me he met someone else or the relationship is over just as long as I knew that he was alive and well. I gave him several outs but he said he wanted to be with me. Its so confusing and breaks my heart. There's no way for me to find out the truth.

Coach Craig after break up I got friendly birthday text and coffee. Took off with buddy and left me at home. Then I was ghosted. It's been 2 months.
I had a somewhat similar situation. My ex wouldn't make contact for a week at a time towards the end of our relationship. I ended up asking what was up. Hence, my break up ensued, initiated by her.
Sounds childish but go no contact and if they reconnect with you give them a taste of their own medicine. Borderline women are notorious for this
After one fantastic year with the best man I could have hoped for, we moved in together and I stopped wanting sex almost overnight.
He being a very understanding and beautiful person helped me and waited and we went to counselling together but nothing worked. I know I loved him and wanted only him but not sex. After subsequent fights that became mohd and more constant over the next three years, he left.
We were intimate three times in those last three years. I can't imagine how I made him feel. I am now starting to understand why I did that but its too late for us now as I think over those last three years he was slowly pulling away from me as well due to the lack of sex.

Hi!. My long distance boyfriend ghosted me. I sent him an email after giving space to clarify whether we are still together or not, and made my case that i hope he chooses to stay, i love him etc. Maybe i overwhelmed him. He didnt respond.
Should i follow up and say that ' ok, i undersrand this is not going any further, i wish you well etc.' before i start no contact? Or should i jjst start no contact now? Maybe he doesnt know he has 'lost' me uet and that im just going to wait. If he needs to feel the loss, how do i do that if he really didnt "break up", but just disappeared and i pursued after. :( I really want to get him back. He got dicouraged because we havent seen each other for a long time and the pandemic cancelled our plans. Uncertainty. I want to increase our chances of getting back together.

Kevin FSU Notorious I did this to my ex. Just got tired of him making plans and not showing up. Not making me a priority. Work was always his priority. Missed my birthday, my sons birthday, on and on. Wasn’t the best way to handle it. At the time I felt like, f**** you and your feelings. But I actually feel terrible cause I wouldn’t want someone to handle me this way.

Yeah, I was also hoping for legitimate cases to give me something to go on. I've been ghosted after 6 years - 5 years living together, and her literally begging me to understand that moving out would help us stop our negative cycle and rekindle our relationship from the ground up. Made me all sorts of promises, and then she's gone completely silent. Talk about being ghosted ...

It's so immature and pathetic for someone in their 30's to act in this manner. It's a big mix of emotions and sometimes I want to rip her a new one for putting me through this agony after 6 years.
