I'm going to be riding a scooter for the next 6 months, the lack of power makes me cry.
Nice vid mate. I high sided at 120kmh at the track a couple of months ago, broken fibular and metartacel, dislocated clavicle and stretched the muscles in my neck. Biike farmed, all my gear is farked apart from my gloves (they had to cut the leathers off).. good to see your still riding, lucky bugga!

I know your feel man.. Last sunday I went involuntarily ofroading with my Suzuki Bandit with about 90 km/h.
Slightly injured my left wrist and ankle, and little damage on the bike. But as soon as it is rideable aain (probably Monday) I'll just start riding again.

i love GSXR's and miss mine a great deal. i had NO bad experiences with build quality and in fact, it held up better than my Honda.
Every other Vlogger i watch i can turn down the sound on youtube and watch something else (breaking bad etc..) and still be able to hear the bike rev. Except for baron.

Glad you're alright. I'd buy some stickers but right now I'm saving up for rain gear. Amazes me the crashes you can get in without getting hurt too badly, where as I just had an accident where I had to put down at 50 km/h and I've got back spasms now. Can't wait to see the repairs keep us updated.
That sucks, I love the Repsol so much. Thank god you took those farings off. Ill definitely purchase a sticker or two for repair purposes

I'm a novice rider and I never ride on the wrong side of pedestrian islands in part due to von grumbles response to it in his videos, I don't want to look shit to other riders, but can anyone explain why, when there are no pedestrians and no on coming vehicles, it is so bad to ride on the wrong side rather than squeeze through a gap that has the potential to shrink on the correct side? Other than it's against the rules?

Baron sorry to hear about the crash. Having done plenty of cage track days (I race Mazda's here in Arizona) it seems to be only a matter of time before you end up in a hairy situation. Glad to hear you're ok and you made the right call putting yourself off-line instead of hitting the guy in front. I'll be sure to hit up a sticker order this week. I'm glad to hear you're ok and while I love the fireblade, I'm relieved you didn't crash the Bimmer.

I bought a zx6 track bike, did five laps of Brands Indy before high siding it at clearways and cunting it so hard the front and rear wheels were about an inch out of line.
Expensive, painful but ultimately rewarding, as now I know what its like to have a big high side.

A mate of mine who was racing at Snetterton the weekend just gone, did exactly the same thing. Came flying up behind someone cruising went heavy on the anchors and over the handle bars.

I've been subscribed to this channel for half a year now, and I still don't know why I'm here.
I watch every video with delight but I don't have anything in common with this.
I don't know the first thing about motorcycles nor am I interested in it, I haven't got a clue how London traffic is and you drive on the opposite side of the road.
The only thing I have noticed is that the last 6 months I leave a lot more space for bikers when I drive my car in heavy traffic. :D

Would be cool if you could get people to donate for your bike and then put a new design on the fairings with the usernames of everyone who donated. But obviously that would take time and effort. Glad to hear there was no serious damage (to you) and that you're ok!

F'ing hell I'm missing out all the nice weathers, because I don't have the money to repair my beloved Cagiva. I manged to blow up the cylinder (if that's even how to say it) in june and as a student I really don't have any money to fix the damn thing.
Lucky it's a 2-stroker so there won't be any other parts to change other than just the piston and it's rings.

I "crashed" on my third day in wet (locked my front brakes when a guy decided to suddenly stop in front of me) but funny enough I was even glad I did because it was a good lesson on how to keep the distance and what can happen. I was only doing around 10mph, so pretty much no damage done but what I mean is you said it's good 'cause you wanted to upgrade. I'd say it was probably a good lesson too and every fall is in a way a good fall :)
