aint NO WAY people thought you actually did this without a bot 💀
iam one of them
I’m calling it right now, you were one of them.
Edit: Okay, well, I just learned what TAS stands for, I’m calling it right now, acronyms are overrated, say the full word.
he used a bot?//?
As a not so smart person, you realy underestimate how dumb people can be
@@Whyiseveryhandletaken6942 TAS has been a thing for decades, smh young people these days
I thought "TAS" stands for The Amazing Spiderman
Lol
Nope, it's "Star Trek: The Animated Series"
It stands for The Animated Series
Best Spiderman ever btw
@@gabrielnobre3401Toby maguire and Andrew Garfield are tied imo but Andrew is a little better.
You litteraly said it was TASed i hate stupid people.
Yeah but they might not know what a "TAS" is, even though I explained it in the description (all of them didn't bother reading the description).
@@wRadionDescription?! Well, that rope’s been jobless for long enough.
Nah man you just hate people in general. Prolly dont have a lot of friends
@@driplane1143bro that doesn’t make any sense💀
This is why I don't like the internet a lot of the time. People having fun, doing their stuff, suddenly some new people come in screaming about things you've known about for decades acting like it's some big discovery of the century when for you it's just Tuesday.
Next video you should explain that you wrote "cheated" in the title and thumbnail of this video, and what that means
isn't that pyro's job
Never knew people dont know what TAS is when it exist in like every speedrunning games.
You should've known what the TAS is if you were even slightly into speedrunning
It's actually kinda depressing. People use obvious TAS videos all the time to claim it as real and there is a massive amount of people who believe the achievement and a very very very small amount who are actually skeptical.
fellow obbyist here ?!?!
Do you know what iscg means
no way is that bobodalien
tas strikes again, we're never gunna beat this guy, he just always has the fastest time, smh
This very talented player named tas! Dude dominated every game's speedrun
😂
He sure have a good gaming chair!
Im sorry a lot of people don’t know what TAS means. It’s clear you weren’t tricking anyone. Hopefully your TAS will help speed runners improve their times.

Finally Thanks bro Amazing video!!🎉🎉❤❤
idk what was going on in this video i wasn't really paying attention, but good job on the 2:29 speedrun, that takes a lot of skill!
yeah this tas guys really good it seems
Amazing looking TAS, i like it.
huh??? what does that mean
this is pretty cool I knew what TAS meant but I never saw how one is actually done!
Bien joué champion ! 😊
En vrai ça reste incroyable! 😂❤
This TAS guy is so nuts at so many games
you did a great job. Wow
I like the soundtrack from Wintergatan!
There's a reason that TASvideos has that bumper for you to put at the front of the video submission. Speaking of which, have you submitted it there?
The TAS isn't 100% legit as I explained, so I highly doubt that it will be accepted there and I don't want to submit it because of that. Also, I should have put a disclaimer at the beginning you're right, but this is just my Twitch video exported to TH-cam, I didn't think a lot of people would watch it.
not gonna lie, looking at the thumbnail and title I AT FIRST thought it was you saying that your tas was fake and you did something like speed up the game or idk but something like that. But now I understand what this really is. clowning on the clowns. You make great videos!
Also fake run bc no box boom boom
I watch the speedrun video again to check the comments and I'm dying lmao
Playing in slow Mo is hard as playing something in speed >.< You sure got that patience.
OK thanks , you're great at life
Gave me old "Who is this guy, named TAS, who sets world records among all games?" jokes vibe, when watched video.
"Infamous hacker named 4chan"
Thanks to trackmania, I knew what a TAS was since a long time 😂
It's crazy that you had to make this video
Some people just need a teaspoon for everything, next up: Did you know oxygen exists even though you can't see it?
Everyone tells that TAS is Tool Assisted Speedrun, but we know that TAS is a nickname of god-tier speedrunner)
How can I download your tool
Those slight different speeds you get when loading states might happen when the physics engine doesn't use a fixed timestep.
In Unity it actually does. The issue here is either with the hand's script or because I don't apply the velocity and position properly to the rigidbody when loading. I didn't finish testing everything so I'm not really sure.
Who exacly is this Tas invidual? He's almost as well known as the famous musician - Feat.
And how to get the Tas?
"Don't mind the legs" sir I can't NOT mind the legs 😂
Anyway cool video!! Do all/many TAS runs tend to be made with these methods? I was under the impression that a lot of them had a seperate controller program where they could code like input by input? Instead of how yours seems more similar to a spliced run???
For PC games, I feel like this is the most optimized way to TAS. My program kinda act as a seperate controller program that I plug directly into the game. And every TAS in the end is a spliced run. There's no way someone TAS in slow-mo or input by input in one go without any mistakes.
The more complex the game, the more it becomes a spliced run rather than an input by input optimization. The Super Mario Bros. TAS is a perfect example of an input by input optimized game. It's simple enough, has very few possible inputs, so it works for that game. But games that have absurd amount of possible inputs and a relatively complex path to finish... It'd be practically impossible to do a perfect input by input optimization on a game like this. So a series of splices and slow-mo is the next best thing.
@@icycloud6823 What I mean by "spliced run" is the use of savestates. Even in Super Mario Bros, to do the TAS, there was rerecords (or savestates). It is equivalent of redoing a part of a run, so, a splice. Maybe someone with good knowledge of the game can do a TAS without re-loading savestates, but other wise, this is just "spliced".
If there is a TAS for any game , there is a comment by Johngaming2014 that just says ‘fake’.
Can you release this tool ?
At first i thought that tas is a real lofe who complete this game in 2 minutes but after some research now i realized that its machine 😂
Some hacker shit right there very nice man
This video title is actually more confusing to me than the original. I thought you were saying the TAS itself was cheated, as in using modified physics to increase the player speed, or speeding up the footage, or adding velocity to the player through cheats, or something.
It does happen, strangely enough. Sometimes even TASes aren't legit.
Well it is, kinda. It isn't voluntarily though.
Do you think your TAS Is beatable?
Yes, very
Its pretty disparaging to see a community insult others about a term exclusive to them mostly. This wasn't just a speed run game. It was a viral Bennett-Foddy-esque game that got the attention of a lot of internet entertainers. If a video said that it was completed within 2 minutes, TAS or not, those who aren't familiar with these terms will see the video at face value. Im glad this video was made to teach those (myself included) about this and allows me to be familar to these things in the future. Some things people dont know. No one knows everything. Calm down and drink your milk.
This is not about a term exclusive to a community, this is about reading a video description.
The first human reflex when you ask yourself "is this cheated? what's going on?" would be to look at either the title or the description of the video to learn more. Well, way more people than expected didn't do that simple and intuitive thing. I'm really surprised that people don't read descriptions anymore and just assume stuff without any knowledge. This is how fake news work. You assume stuff you don't know anything about, then post something about it to a large audience, and everyone believes you because they don't do the work you didn't do either. This is sad but this is how the internet works nowadays. Spread misinformation because people are lazy or plain stupid.
I JUST WATCHED THE OTHER ONE
People when TAS doesn't stand for "Totally Awesome Speedrun" 😂
I will say I did not know what TAS was, and clicked on this video straight out of the actual TAS run video. Guess you learn new things
People can't see the word TAS. IN EVERY PART
How are people still not aware of what a TAS is in 2024? No hope for humanity.
Not everyone is into speedrun content. You lose your hope in humanity over some people not knowing a very specific (and in day-to-day life useless) thing? You're sad dude
@@leobe2104 Never heard of hyperbole, eh?
Why do you upload this video if it's all clear like 2+2?
because some people think the answer is five
There are some people who don't know much about speedrunning. Nerds, man...
i was thinking first: WHAT he cheated the TAS run? There is no tool? lol
I didn't notice you put tas in the tile... Oops
On reconnaît l'accent français c'est cool 😂
TAS - Tool Assisted Speedrun
Thanks, finally someone who can read
There is Literraly TAS , on the video title, of course you used TAS, Next video will be explaining what Cheated mean
GIVE ME MY 2MIN 29 SECONDS BACK!!!
People? Read the description? Of course not.
It’s funny how this has to be reexplained every time a new TAS is made for any game.
Edit: I mean the fact that TAS runs aren’t meant to be normal runs. Not how TAS runs are actually made, that’s pretty interesting.
Aren't you afraid that someone will use this tool to fake records?
This is also something I think about. I can hide a small visual detail that only I can see, that basically shows that my tool is being used. There would still be ways to circumvent that though. But for now, the savestates thing is so junky that this is the use of the tool is clearly visible
are you french ?
Yes
@@Le_vrai_lois a ses pour sa que dans la video tu avais un acent francais et du mal pour certain mot 3:
It is hilarious to realize he is basically god in the fact that he can fly anywhere but still trying to mimic human behavior.
ngl i thought by cheating u meant changing the values for friction how tf do people think a human played like that
Omg this was not a real run this was a TAS ? man i should read titles more often Kappa
someone actually thought it was a Legit run by a player?
Yeah, a lot of people, you have no idea
I never played the game and don't know how hard it actually is so I thought if you spent a LOT of time memorizing everything you could actually do this😭 Also speedrunners to me are like people who are REALLY good at exploiting everything in a game and learning every bit of Code, doing things that seem imüossible to me so I didn't really think about it a second longer
Yup, it's normal since only speed runners and their followers know and use the term. The broad audience usually only sees the end result in a TH-cam video and think someone was autistic enough to memorize every pixel they need to pass through or interact with.
are u french ????
Are u french ?
Oui

BRO ITS A TAS
어떻게 대부분의 유튜버가 tas로 올릴때마다 해명하는 영상이 꼭 하나씩 있냐ㅋㅋㅋ
A lot of people don't know what TAS is and his previous video has a shit ton of idiots assuming he used a tas but not claiming its a tas despite having tas in the name of the video and all that

pourquoi parler anglais ?
