*Fun fact:* a few years ago CC was making his last regular season start for the year and was a few pitches away from completing his total, to claim a $500,000 bonus. Instead he chose to bean the batter to get retaliation for what the Rays pitcher had done to Austin Romine earlier in the game. CC was ejected and was now ineligible for the bonus. When asked after the game he said “I dont make decisions based on money, it felt like the right thing to do”
Will always have mad love for CC 💙

As a SF Giants fan... I gave this video a like because CC Sabathia is awesome! He's comment of "I'm on the side of offense, I hate watching a f*cking 1-0 game." The fact that this is coming from a pitcher is awesome! Now that he's retired and this interview, I'm a fan.

CC, I am very happy to know that you, a great player whom I have admired since childhood, will be traveling to Japan. But August in Japan is very hot, like a sauna. Not only the temperature but also the humidity is quite high. So I hope you and your family will be careful not to get heat stroke. Water in Japan is hygienic in all areas, so I suggest you stay hydrated often and stay indoors in air-conditioned rooms during the daytime. I wish you a wonderful trip! From Japan : )

I'm happy that CC and his family's planning to visit Japan. With that said, I really think they should avoid going there in summer as it's so-o-o-o hot and humid🥵 I'd say the best scenario is to go there in October, perhaps the best time of the year weather-wise in Japan, and attend the Nippon Series games (equivalent to the MLB World Series). Maybe they'll let him pitch the ceremonial first pitch in one of the games! ⚾ Wouldn't that be awesome?

Thank you for the very interesting interview, Pat. Although this is unrelated to the interview, as a Japanese person, I would like to say a few words. Apart from the significantly elderly individuals who may have had direct involvement in the war, there are very few Japanese people who dislike Americans. Of course, there have been sad moments in history, but the majority of Japanese people, excluding criminals and those with low morals, want Americans to take more interest in Japan and visit as tourists. Japan has always been geographically exposed to threats from China, Russia, and more recently, North Korea. I believe you are all aware of the terrible facts and rumors regarding human rights and ideologies in these three countries. Fundamentally, the United States is Japan's most important partner, and Japanese people trust and hold a favorable view of America. Additionally, the current younger generation is proficient in English, so they have fewer difficulties with tourism compared to the past. I believe that cheerful individuals like Pat would be welcomed anywhere!

Babe Ruth dickriders have it ass backwards
      Ohtani isn't like babe Ruth
Babe Ruth is like Ohtani...IF Babe Ruth played in an INTEGRATED league (instead of segregated in Babe Ruth's era with white-only players)
Babe Ruth started his major league career as a pitcher before moving to the outfield. Only 14 of his 714 career home runs were hit as a pitcher
Babe ruth hit against 80 mph fastballs from coal miners and taxi drivers who just got home from work.
Can you Babe Ruth d-riders even admit there should be a BIG asterisk next to his name before claiming GOAT?!
Fact: Babe Ruth played in a segregated era
There werer no black players, no Latino players (DR, venezuela players, Cuban players, puertoRican plyers)
In short the level of competition & talent pool was much lower than today
      Pitching was terrible
Babe Ruth actually had enough time to STEP FORWARD to hit the ball.
That's how slow the pitches were in his day
HE hit more Home Runs than whole teams?
      Why?
The players he played with were uniformly scrubs.
Often with 2 jobs: electiricans, plumbers, carpenters
In Ruth's time there were only 8 teams in the league. LOL

The Yankee’s got screwed of a chance of one by them stinking cheating Astros. Judge probably got screwed out of a MVP too. Imagine if Judge knew what pitch was coming last year! He would have hit 80 home runs💯

Shohei is definitely one of the most talented baseball players we’ve ever seen. But to name him the “goat” of baseball is WAY to early to say he still has a lot to accomplish.

Yes, most talented is fine, had the best all around season ever? fine too, Best player to ever play the game or anything that approaches "GOAT" convo when dude hasn't even clocked a second of post season play? Yeah, No, way too early, the dudes been in the league since 2018 FFS, He keeps doing this for another 5 years and gets better?, sure talk away at that point, But to be a GOAT You have to win a ring, is there any sport where the GOAT never won a title? No.
