  • Welcome to Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta Canada!
After driving 3000km across Canada from Ontario, we arrived at Dinosaur Provincial Park in the Canadian Badlands of Alberta!
This park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site containing some of the most important and dense dinosaur fossil finds in the world!
Our campsite was right near the hoodoos and rock formations and we had so much fun exploring!
We spent time driving the Scenic Loop and stopped at all of the hikes and dig sites along the way.
Part of the park is only accessible via tour or if you're a palaeontologist with permits. Seeing as we are not palaeontologists, we opted for a group bus tour so we would get to see the restricted areas of the park. The tour was AMAZING and we would definitely recommend you take some type of tour or group hike so you can learn more about the history of the park and see lots of dinosaur bones! We even got to touch some real dinosaur bones and hunt for some on our own (to be left in place).
We spent 2 nights here, but could have stayed a week! We will be back Dinosaur!!
Next up we're heading to Drumheller where we're going to meet up with Grandma & Grandpa and see some more dinosaurs before making our way further west!
Follow @adventureswiththehills and travel with us as we continue on to Banff & Jasper National Parks, mountain bike in Kelowna, rock climb in Squamish, surf in Tofino and explore the West coast!
    Let's Go!
