Yeah Encre Noire is such a special case, off the top like in the air it smells like my grandmas house cuz of the woodsy type of smell that older peoples houses just have, but on me it smells totally different and ive gotten even the question if theres pheromones in there cuz it smells so good
I LOVE Encre Noire, but I've always known others don't - it's a scent I wear for me and only me. It's comforting, interesting & always puts me in a good mood!

Yep, I wear a few "polarising" scents at times... Amouage Figment and Terenzi Ursa are two of my all-time faves, but they most definitely are _NOT_ mass-appealing. :) Like you said, they make _me_ feel good. I don't tend (or try not) to base my frag purchases on what others might think.

Right? So basic and uneducated and withdawn with the whole craft altogether- All of them either hate it or they 'don't mind it' . So blazay! They cant even properly decipher notes or speak anywhere close to the language of fragrance. Profumo smells like a grape sucker- what? Its clearly root beer/ chocolate powdered doughnuts. Zero grape. and to think these are the people we are obsessed with impressing. Women don't even like fragrances - unless they 'ask' for a fragrance - bath and body candle shopping ect. Women are so sensitive and finicky especially as they get older in office environments. Is it the hormones? At this point would rather impress other men who are trying to ace the perfect fragrance. She’s a hit or miss cause there’s been times where she would describe a scent very wrong, and example in one video is when she reviewed azzaro wanted by night and described it as very strong alcohol scent or chemical smell and very synthetic which a lot of people disagreed with

I've come to also notice while a lot of fragrances may not get a verbal compliment it definitely does affect women when they're around you. Obviously telling a complete stranger they smell good is not a common thing but a lot of us have stood or walked by someone and thought wow they smell good. Even when in a conversation with a co-worker or other person we also may notice they smell nice and think highly of them or not so good if their scent is unappealing. I mean I was just in the mall last weekend and some girl ahead of me on the escalator smelled nice and I thought in my head : "Oh whoever is wearing that smells nice".

Its funny to see how these beautiful young ladies react to different men's fragrances, but I think its hard to tell from a tester strip, even with the opening and dry down. The only true way to tell is off skin. And even then it depends on skin chemistry. Some of the Chanel fragrances smell beautiful off tester strips but on my skin smell akin to q mild vinegar because there is obviously an ingredient used in Chanel fragrances that does not suit my skin chemistry.
Guys Dylan BLUE IS BLIND BUY WORTHY. Any young guy looking for a fragrance that will attract chicks and can also be worn to work uni or going out on a date. And it is inoffensive. Its very fresh and clean but what separates it from other fresh and clean fragrances is that it is musky and manly and has ambroxan too in it so it lasts!
People might hate Encre Noire, but the "sport" version is a bit easy to wear and is smoother. It truly has a character of its own despite being a cheapie and can be pulled off by any age, but it doesn't suit everyone.
Abercrombie fierce is the only cologne I've ever worn that a girl grabbed me and asked what i was wearing. One of the extremely attractive twins i was i school with and only knew in passing.
lesson: everyone has their own preferences when it comes to what smells good. also most ppl dont rly know how to describe scents and it just ends up sounding a lot worse than it actually is. there are different levels of certification that you can get for becoming a wine expert and the highest level requires you to blind taste test multiple different wines and identify the ingredients used and where the wine originates from. not sure if there is something like that for smelling cologne or perfume but i assume there is. its like asking me to describe a red wine; i'd have no idea if its a cabernet or merlot or whatever the fuck and i most certainly wouldnt be able to tell you if there are hints of oak or cherry.
I love the concept of the video. But not the perfumes used. Bleu de Chanel EDP, Sauvage EDT, Creed Aventus, YSL La nuit de L'Homme, Eros de Versace, Tom Ford, Acqua Di Gio multiple versions. That's the most popular fragances between ladies.

Encore Noire is by far the best and most interesting scent among these. If you want to smell casual and generic, go for the other ones.

Guys Dylan BLUE IS BLIND BUY WORTHY. Any young guy looking for a fragrance that will attract chicks and can also be worn to work uni or going out on a date. And it is inoffensive. Its very fresh and clean but what separates it from other fresh and clean fragrances is that it is musky and manly and has ambroxan too in it so it lasts!
People might hate Encre Noire, but the "sport" version is a bit easy to wear and is smoother. It truly has a character of its own despite being a cheapie and can be pulled off by any age, but it doesn't suit everyone.
Nailed the Christmas tree cypress in Encre Noire. No love for the vetiveryl acetate. 😄 But yeah, the bottle is slick.

I was most surprised by the reactions to the sweeter fragrances. People seemed to generally like ultra male but disliked code profumo?
Ultra Male smells like a sexy male model drinking a root beer float while Profumo smells like aggressive baby powder lol.

lesson: everyone has their own preferences when it comes to what smells good. also most ppl dont rly know how to describe scents and it just ends up sounding a lot worse than it actually is. there are different levels of certification that you can get for becoming a wine expert and the highest level requires you to blind taste test multiple different wines and identify the ingredients used and where the wine originates from. not sure if there is something like that for smelling cologne or perfume but i assume there is. its like asking me to describe a red wine; i'd have no idea if its a cabernet or merlot or whatever the fuck and i most certainly wouldnt be able to tell you if there are hints of oak or cherry.
Why the one edt though? Who even uses that with the EDP out. Would rather have liked to hear opinions on The one EDP.

I love the concept of the video. But not the perfumes used. Bleu de Chanel EDP, Sauvage EDT, Creed Aventus, YSL La nuit de L'Homme, Eros de Versace, Tom Ford, Acqua Di Gio multiple versions. That's the most popular fragances between ladies.
