    Nothing like new threads. Feels almost like a new bow. 👍👍

    To save time with your peep, when your setup is all good to your liking, measure from center of d-loop to center of peep and write it down. Just trying to help.

    🙋🏻‍♂️Same!
    I just got a new set of strings on my bow. I’m dialed in at 20. Broadheads are hitting super close to the field points. I just need to push it out to 40 to get that warm and fuzzy! Season opens here in 3 weeks.🙌🏼 🏹 🦌

    Hi Jeff! Nice string color combo on that Omnia. I derailed my new Athens Vista one time, largely because the cams weren't timed. 😳 Who knew?
    Do you like those strings better than the GAS brand?

    • @jeffcordero_
      @jeffcordero_  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they are both good companies making good strings. Can’t go wrong with either. I have gas on my target bow and Threadz on my Omnia.

    Do you find that the bow is louder with no speed buttons on the string?

    Did you have enough adjustment with the UV slider thinking about getting one for my omnia but I have heard some complaints about adjustment issues

    I have an elite bow and some say the gas strings cause peep rotation bc the thickness of the servings. My elite came with winners choice. Wondering if you had that peep rotation as well with different strings?

    • @jeffcordero_
      @jeffcordero_  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have run a couple different brands of strings on my Elite bows. GAS on my Verdict, Threadz on my Omnia and now Hoss Custom Bow strings on my Ethos. I have had no problem with the servings tracing fine through the cams.

      Thanks for the reply to my comment. Maybe it’s a matter of tying the pee correctly. I’m 3 years into bow hunting so still a novice

      It depends on how much you shoot. If you only take 10 shots a year then yeah your strings will last a long time. But if you shoot all the time you'll need a new set more often

      At times I change twice a yr. Shoot around 6 to 8 thousand a yr. The cost of a elk hunt being blown because of string failure is not going to happen to me..

      Nock sets. Hard to spin the dloop

    • @MrTheBurkes
      @MrTheBurkes 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @jeffcordero_ I've had really good luck by installing a d-loop without nock sets and paper tuning it before adding your nock sets. You can tighten it down enough so the knots don't slip on your serving, get a bullet hole by spinning your d-loop, then tie a single knot, top and bottom, pull the d-loop, tie in your sets, and reinstall your d-loop. Make sure you have space and it doesn't pinch the nock, and you're golden.
      Great video, I enjoy your content.

    • @jeffcordero_
      @jeffcordero_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t. I get close with paper and then shoot broadheads. At the end of the day of the broad heads and field points hit together then that’s all that matters

    • @reddawng43x91
      @reddawng43x91 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Skip it all and bare shaft at 20,30,40,50,60! Done deal! No paper no broadhead tune needed
