    Just replaced OEM strings on a Laser with these at the recommendation of my shop a couple months ago. My peep HAS NOT MOVED. Consistency is a bit better to. Bravo. Don’t change a thing.

    I just got my first set of gas from my archery store and put on my 2012 bear legion

    I also am curious on center serving size for the Easton X-nock and Nockturnal lighted nock in terms of hunting from a elevated tree stand aspect.

    So what size center serving should I use on the freak show string to have the best fit? I use nockturnal lighted nocks or the nocks that come with Easton axis 300 match grade arrows. I’m hunting but shot targets all year long, Hoyt rx7

    Heat has been apart of the process for years

    Every single set of strings I’ve bought, regardless of builder or price have ALL had the center serving separate after 100-200 shots and I have to re do it. My serving job lasts for as long as I use the string. I’m just a archery nerd on a homemade jig in my garage. Are these strings going to be any better? How?

      I've had my Freakshows for about a month now and no separation.... I have had GAS Ghost on 2 bows for two years each and the center serving was perfect the whole time.

      Good to hear. I’m going to order a set. I’ve had two sets in the past. Mixed results. I’ll try these freak show due to the heat process.

    What happens when this bowstring gets moisture/wet?

    • @finq0997
      @finq0997 ปีที่แล้ว

      nothing. What happens when your riser and limbs get wet? You take them out of the bow case once you're home and let it dry.

      Nothing, they still have some wax in them, but you can always apply wax whenever you want to the surface, and won’t hurt a thing. It’s when wax starts from inside the bundle that causes some issues sometimes.

      @@finq0997 Typically in the past, bow strings were waxed. The theory was to keep them from wetting down and getting heavy from rain and water flying in your eyes when the bow was shot. I realize that is "old school" and that product line has most likely evolved over the years. You are probably too young to know this smartypants.

    I have noticed 454 don't stretch as much as 450 to both of them being natural and then that bloodline material don't stretch near as much as either one of them in color or natural just my opinion I mean that's a 350 400 lb

    Bloodline Fibers is where it's at, that string material just stays put and no need to wax it.
