I typically never comment on videos, but I just wanted to give a huge thank you to you Becky. I’m 21 years old and struggle with lots of anxiety and depression, but your videos always bring me such a sense of comfort when not much else will. You live a beautiful and meaningful life and I am so grateful you choose to share it with us. Sending you and yours peace and love!
You’re not alone ❤ I have anxiety and depression too and I have tips as a 33 year old woman but I highly recommend starting with self care. Hang in there!
You are not alone! I have anxiety at 26 years old I definitely recommend starting with self care! Hang in there you got this!
I'm also in my 20's and struggle with my mental health and Becky's videos are my escape from the overwhelm of life!
I really feel for you, my early 20's were tough. Keep looking out for yourself and doing what you need to regulate ❤️
I would suggest to all of you to stop watching the news and get off social media as much as possible and also do not watch crime videos or horror. It helps mental health. I have had depression and anxiety myself and I have to be careful to maintain my mental health. I’ve realized I am very sensitive.
Totally agree with these tips. Living with bipolar includes depression and anxiety and I’ve learnt to be as careful about what I put into my mind as I am about what I put into my body. There’s a saying garbage in, garbage out. I don’t have control over everything in life but I do have a choice over the media I consume. Sometimes it’s hard to restrain myself. But it’s me and my loved ones who suffer if I don’t. My psychologist taught me I needed to take daily action to support my mental health and not just take the medication she prescribed me.
I love your automatic black & white vacuum that’s looking to clean anything that fell on the floor, lol.
😂
Because everyone should have this recipe... Pan Grease: 1 cup Shortening, 1 cup Oil, 1 cup Flour and beat in your kitchen aid until smooth... You can keep it in your frig. Nothing sticks... Learned it in a cake class 😀
Definitely writing this down thank you!
If you don’t want to use shortening, you can use coconut oil.
@@carolinewilcox4823 You are very welcome :)
Oh, thank you for suggesting the coconut oil! I've been using the shortening version for several years, and it is perfect for Bundt pans!
Thanks!
Hi Becky. Keep some safety pins in your grow room and when you pull off your gloves clip them together with the safety pin and you can wash them with the safety pin attached and they will stay together for you. I use to do that with socks when my kids were young. My kids are grown now but for some reason I’m still losing socks when I wash them I think it is true when I lose socks they come back as Tupperware lids that have no bottoms lol. Love your videos
😂😂😂
Sooo true!!!!😂
Once my boys got to the teenage stage, one got navy, one got black and my husband got gray. If they needed a different color they knew where to find them
Thanks for that giggle. I've always wondered about sock loss and lid abundance.
Thats true LOL
When I was growing up and the food was in pieces like your rolls my mom always said, "Oh well, you can"t eat it whole anyway." She was such a positive person and made the best of everything and it has influenced how I've kept things light throughout my life. ❤
You said, "Whoops I dropped that" and your dog came running. LOL I think he was expecting a floor treat!
That was funny!
That's how my three dogs are!
Thanks for always being here with us, Becky, and being your authentic self always!
Indubitably. 💗
It just occurred to me that this season you may be making some super fun memories with your kiddo likely walking around and picking things in the garden! I know we wont get to see it but I can only imagine you would be so happy for that to happen. :) ❤ Your dinner sounds so good and I cannot wait to see some of those pumpkins!
BECKY BECKY BECKY, I LOVE YOUR JEANS!!👖 I'm a denim fan from way back!!❣️ They look lovely on you❣️
I have a hard time finding jeans…can you share the brand?
Who else loves to see the cameos by Becky’s pups…my little bulldog is always in the kitchen with me ❤
I’m not a dog lover(give me cats) and it grosses me out to think of having dogs in the kitchen with dog hair flying around.
@@cynthiafisher9907 but you’d prefer cats who walk all over the benches lol… dog owner and my kitchen is never covered in dog fur, but I think it’s a lot to do with if your a dog or cat person or a no pet person, cats gross me out but to someone who hasn’t got any pets they probably feel like that towards cats and dogs lol ❤
@@tracyball5041 Ha! You’re probably right, it’s just what grosses each person out, I guess. My cats have mostly been shorthaired, but their fur kind of grosses me out too. Becky’s dogs have pretty long fur, though.
I’m so excited to get watch your channel grow!! I think a lot of the magic comes from not only how authentic you are but also the filming. You don’t over edit every little thing, you don’t have each ingredient measured out before you begin etc.
It really helps someone like me feel like the things you cook and bake and plant and preserve feel more approachable because I get to watch you do them! Anyway, much love, and thanks for being you 💕
I really like that Becky shows things don’t always turn out , like bread sticking to the Bundt pan !
Just subscribed! Yours is an interesting channel. I particularly loved this episode because you showed you don’t have to be perfect. Decades ago, I would watch Martha Stewart and especially her Christmas specials. One episode had her making a monkey bread tower and then she was spinning sugar to encase the whole thing. I was so overwhelmed I had to take a nap. 😂 You are down to earth and more easy going on my system. Just be you!
I just found a Bosch mixer at an estate sale for $125!!!! I was so excited because I’ve seen you use yours and how much you enjoy it. Thanks for making a video using it right away! More Bosch videos! 😂
Becky have made me BETTER at enjoying life and the kitchen chores. Which I do not find as a negative duty anymore. But a fun playground for me to be creative and cook Nice things for my family and friends
Agree and every time I clean up I hear her say that you clean up in time to get it messy again. Which makes that never ending chore easier some how.
@@sandyfitchcorbett1782❤❤❤ yes Its so Nice to have Beckys voice in our heads while making food for our families and friends. I do not let it bother me if something are not perfect first Tine. We just Try again and Then get on with it. ❤❤❤❤ have SOME Nice time in your kithens Girlzzzzz ❤❤❤ hugs from DENMARK
I grow extra zucchini for my chickens in the summer. Cut them lengthwise and lay out for my hens! Free food for them plus extra water on hot days!
I enjoy the comments on your vids almost as much as the vids themselves! So many great tips! Thanks to everyone!
Good lass, it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it tastes good! And I respect you even more for not cutting that out of the video as a lot would
You constantly amaze me! I love that you call us FRIEND…..We can’t have enough friends!!! Love you FRIEND1. ❤❤❤
I love that "It doesn’t have to be Pinterest perfect” ! 🙌
Becky in jeans. They look nice on you.
I would spend a great 30 minutes picking all the crunchy bits out of that pan! 😂😂😂 I find it you leave it it gradually loosens off after it has absorbed some moisture from the air.
What a fun day multitasking with you. I do better when I'm not alone with jobs so I try to channel your voice chatting to me while I'm doing chores x thank you xx 💓💓💓
I am so thankful to have found your channel. I have learned so much about finding the joy in cooking that I have lacked and I am coming up on my 70th birthday! Love you, love your channel. 💗💗💗💗💗💗
I think I enjoy your videos so much because you’re like the friend we all want to hang out with. Thank you for being so you… struggles and successes. 💜
Just had a thought, next time you go to a thrift store look for some lipped sheet pans. You could use those to put your pots on to put under the grow lights when you run out of the black ones.
Becky, when I make any kind of monkey bread, I always dip my dough in melted butter and put a layer in the pan. Then I top with cheese, nuts, or fruit, repeating layers. I have been making monkey bread since the seventies and have never had it stick. I also don't make balls with my dough, just pull off pieces or roll out and cut in pieces. When it rises, it is fine.
I really enjoy your videos and am trying some of your freezer meals. I live alone and love to cook, but just not up to it lots of days, so they will work perfectly for me.
You should go to Lowes or Walmart and ask the people in the garden department if you could have some of their empty trays. I’m always seeing them in the trash and have asked for them before. They’ll work until you could purchase some more.
You’re right. I’ve gotten plenty from them. Thanks for reminding us.
That's what I do! Every seed try and all my up-pot contains are from our local Homedepo's garden center. The qualities not always great, but they work just fine.
Good morning 🙏🤗
Love your videos! Thank you for sharing with us Becky!
Have a blessed day 🙏
Been watching you since almost the beginning and you still are my very favorite TH-camr and “show”!!!
Wow, thanks!
Same!! I found her when she only had like 10 videos and I've been hooked since. The only YT channel I watch consistently
I think my first Becky video was of you making a years worth of pasta…i was just learning to make it back then. I have not missed a video since. You are so relatable and refreshing! Def my favorite you tuber 😊
Glad to be in the kitchen with you Becky, I don’t care so much for the horticulture videos but will be there to help with the harvest. 😊
I love them all from Becky! But, there are some horticulture videos or pages that have been suggested, and I hate those.
I agree. Just not interesting to me. Sometimes I watch just to support Becky but ugh.
Becky looks adorable in her cute jeans! 😊
Yes! I don’t th8nk I’ve ever seen her in jeans before.
Hi Becky 👋 hi friends 🧡
Hooray for the bounced back tomatoes!!

You’re like all the rest of us Becky you are real and I really like that. And you’re right in my opinion things don’t need to be Pinterest perfect.
OMG. I just looked up a brioche bread recipe today to make french toast. Going to try it tomorrow. Wish me luck.
Next day. Making the brioche dough using my kitchen aid pro and it overheated. Ended up having to knead all the butter in by hand. Dough looks and feels wonderful. Wish me luck.
I, too, love my Bosch mixer. Raising six kids and baking bread for them from freshly ground flour was a joy. My adult daughters now have their own Bosch mixers and say the sound of bread kneading is such a comforting sound full of happy memories.
For your gloves you can get a zippered delicates washing bag to put them in as you take them off, and that way you always know that you have full sets of gloves when you wash and dry them you can do the same for your families socks to keep them from missing the laundry mystery that tends to happen with socks. ❤
My husband jokes that missing socks come back as tupperware lids.
That's good advice for washing gloves, but I think Becky loses one of hers in the garden or other places,so a pair never reaches the washing machine....(at least not very often).
Has anyone here watched ‘Little Mountain Ranch’? She shows how to make pots out of newspaper in a recent video and todays video she was starting her squash explained how great it is to use the paper pots for those starts in particular for the least amount of disturbance when planting. You can either easily peal away the newspaper or plant the whole thing and let the paper break down in place. I highly recommend giving her channel a watch! She’s an amazing Canadian homesteader with great ideas (cooking/baking/gardening/farming) 👍
@TLadret I just came here to tell her the exact same thing😂
@@lisalandry4879 haha! Small world hey? 😄
I watch 'Little Mountain Ranch' as well.
I've been following her for years 😊
Yes…she is one of my favorites..hard working yet delightful mother…gardener…canner…takes care of the animals..she just does it all…great lady…I like Meg too
Hey Becky. Hello Acre Friends. Can’t wait to watch. ❤❤❤
Didn't you get roasted garlic powder with your mom? Boy the roasted garlic takes monkey bread to the next level.
Cheesy monkey bread sounds delicious 😋 looking forward to this!
I discovered the Bosch kitchen machine 37 1/ 2 years ago, at our state fair, as a lady was demonstrating making bread. I absolutely fell in love with it and have own two (I wore out the first one after 17 years). I don't make as much bread as I did while my 9 children were growing up, but watching your videos, Becky, have inspired me SO MUCH in the last year, thank you!!!!
Love how you are so very real! ❤❤❤❤ Never change, please! So perfectly imperfect…❤
Becky, can you turn the left handed gloves inside out to make right handed gloves? lol (use the eraser end of a pencil to get the tips of the fingers all the way inside out)
I think her garden gloves are vinyl coated (looks like they’ve been dipped in liquid rubber); that would be less than a desirable feeling on one’s hand. Or maybe it’s just ME that it would drive crazy. 😄
@@shesatitagain234 yes, but it would get her by in a pinch
I wish there was a LOVE button for your videos!!! Love them. God's blessings.......🥰🥰🥰
Your honesty in showing us the things that don't always go perfectly is to be commended. And that you just accept the goofs and move on anyway - a really encouraging lesson for many people. Thank you .
49:41 I can hear that crunch and it's making my mouth water. Honestly, I would just take a fork and try to scrape off whatever I could out of the pan and eat it directly like I would eat the remaining batter for pastries.
I watched a nan the other day he said melon seeds are hard and he snips a tiny bit of the top so the water can get in that I thought was a good tip his melons where in abundance ❤
When I first started gardening I planted in anything from the store that would hold soil - lettuce containers, yogurt cups, bottles cut off -😂. I saved the pot from every plant I bought until I had a great stash. Where there is a will there is a way.
You are killing it. About 3 million views in a month. Wow! Good for you and your team.
Thanks so much for visiting me today. You are a joy!
I know it sounds wonderful to have a greenhouse; however, see how easy it is for you to go from the kitchen to the grow room. You can multi-task. This is something you wouldn't be able to do if you had a greenhouse out by the chickens. Something to think about. Love everything you do. Thanks for sharing.
YAY!! Becky time!!!
Aw thanks so much! I hope you enjoy!
It’s always such a wonderful experience to visit with Becky in her kitchen! May you have a blessed day!
Woot Woot! Was hoping for a new Becky video today 😊
My right hand gloves always get a hole in the finger from weeding, so I always have a bunch of beautiful left gloves and a selection of ratty right gloves 😁
That’s what I was thinking! My recent pair of gloves got the finger taped. Today I went and bought two new pair. I’m set for a while!
😂😂😂😂😂
I think that the best thing that I have learned from you is about the garlic pucks. I love, love having made them and having them available. I know that you like tzatziki. I grow my cucumbers and grate them up and freeze dry them. When you make your sauce it’s so easy not having to get rid of all the liquid in the fresh cucumbers. I just add my plain yogurt and other ingredients.
Smart!
I love seeing how your channel is growing. Crazy how fast it's moving now. You deserve it so very much. Your content is so true and wholesome ✨️ Thank you for the inspiration that you provide. Virtual love from South Africa.
I skipped the step of making brioche bread, instead I purchased a cinnamon brioche bread. It made amazing French toast! ❤ I can’t wait to learn how to make the bread itself!
It’s the middle of the week, a holiday, the sun is shining, I just made my morning coffee and here is a Becky video - it’s a good day 😊💕
Yep❣ Love from South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤
Hello, from Romania. Here is 21.45.
Garden Answer is a great series to watch.
Remember, last year, you used the yellow tote lids!!
Thanks for showing us how to put that apron on. I was wondering and looking to buy some.
Becky, I love watching you taste stuff your eyes glaze over, and with the look you give we know it's good.
Don't forget your pansies are a cool season flower 🌺
Becky, I watched last year's pumpkin cooking show recently and you were most impressed seeby the French pumpkin variety when you were roasting them.
Quick shortcut use canned biscuits.
That is how I know monkey bread to be made.
That bread looks so yummy.x
Hey Becky! Crunch up some parchmentpaper and it will fit perfectly in to your bunpan. 😃
Fabulous, as always! I agree, it doesn't need to be Pinterest Perfect. I bake my monkey bread in a Pyrex baking dish and it comes out very easily.
Hi Becky,
I make this bread often. The best way to unmold is to use baking paper instead of just oil or butter, or use a smooth mold without indentations.
Congratulations on your channel, you are fantastic.❤❤❤
Beautiful mum
Hi Becky! I absolutely love your channel!!!! I have been watching since the beginning and watched every video, live and short you put out!
I am pretty certain you saved nasturtium seeds from last season (as a "mix") and placed the seeds in a mason jar. I'm mentioning this for two reasons, your mentioned that you wanted to plant out a whole greenstack and you mentioned you wanted to plant out all your naturtiums.
Happy planting! Can't wait to see how everything turns out! 😊
The cheesy garlic monkey bread looks delicious. Making it tonight for dinner with our homemade baked spaghetti.
You are such a joy to watch! You just lit up talking about pumpkins!
Your monkey bread looked delicious- no monkeying around with cleaning that pan! Yikes! Your videos and energy is amazing! 💕
The monkey bread looks delicious....I can almost feel that crunch and taste the cheese. Thanks Becky.
Nasturtiums - thought you picked up a lot of the seeds last year when they dropped? might have a look round, they make a ton of their own seed and they are the best self planters.
I wish I had one one-thousandth of the ambition you have. Kudos to you. Your family is very fortunate to have you in their lives!
Thanks for another upload Becky! Always look forward to your videos :)
Hi Becky! Today is May 1, 2024; I just read on CNN that walnuts that are being sold at health food stores and co-op's are being recalled due to e coli contamination. The walnuts were sold in California and Washington State. The strain of e-coli they found can cause the kidneys to shut down. Just wanted you to know in case you bought some recently so you can return them or throw them out. With all the cooking you do, just wanted you to know. Also, I love your videos!! I am a 53 years young person that really wants to do what you do with your garden and wholesome cooking when I grow up 😉. Seriously though, be cautious about the walnuts being recalled. Thank you
Is it just me or is everyone so happy Becky and Meg are friends. They have my favorite channels on TH-cam. Always love spending kitchen time with them!
Just a note. The neck pumpkins make THE BEST pumpkin pie. Let the neck part grow out as long as you can. Yummy
Hi Becky! Thank you for sharing your knowledge of cooking and gardening! I pray that all goes well with everything you put your hands to! Take care!
Hi Becky love your TH-cam xx
Hi Becky!! I love how you adapt recipes with what you have on hand. That makes it so much easier!! I usually go to the store and buy the EXACT ingredients. Thank you for giving us all options in cooking and baking! Many blessings...
❤❤
Yes, I believe it should cool first. Letting it cool allows it to contract and release
No worries Becky. Not everything I cook turns out right and I've been cooking for over 50 years. It happens sometimes. Glad the bread still tastes great. That's the main thing!!
Oh, Becky!
I use my Bosch for EVERYTHING!!
It’s awesome to mix up cookie dough! Use the whisks to cream the the butter, sugar, eggs, etc
then switch to the cookie paddles!
It also mixes up pie pastry dough like a charm! Can very easily double any recipe as well.
I use mine also for quick breads! My pumpkin bread recipe makes 5 loaves, and the Bosch early handles this amount of ingredients! I never bake just one loaf of s quick bread. I always mix up several loaves so that I can share and freeze some of the loaves. It’s no more work or clean up to do so! In a nutshell, I only need a Bosch! I do have a hand mixer for small amounts of whipped cream or frosting, but the Bosch is also wonderful for whipping up whipped cream or larger batches of frosting!
Bosch for the WIN!
I agree! I absolutely love my Bosch mixer! Second to none
Sounds great. I am intrigued
What did you do with your zucchini Becky?
I have recently seen Bosch mixers at Goodwill. One could also plug it in to make sure it works before purchasing.
Why you have this plus a KA? It seems one wouldn’t need to have both.
Hey Becky, I watch you all the time from Canada! Love your cooking days to gardens days. Another thing when it comes to watering., my suggestion is to bottom water as the roots will grow deeper and stronger. You can also see how much water you are putting in the trays. Hope this helps as well with your seedlings! Happy planting.
Just curious. Why have you been using Happy Frog potting mix the last two videos when you have sworn by vermont compost and just got a large delivery of it direct from the company?
I've had to soak pans before also. I think we all have. The important thing is how good your bread turned out!
Hi Becky! I laughed when you spoke about your gloves. My kids always misplace their gloves and mittens ending up with the same right hand missing! At the end of winter we are a totally left handed family! 🇨🇦
You can’t mess up bread, cheese and garlic! That looked so yummy!
We love your videos!! 🎉❤
Oh, I see someone knows what dropped means. That furry friend came to investigate real quick after you said, "oops I dropped that" while loading the dishwasher.
Love you Becky love seeing you
Becky…you are such a good cook that even if you don’t have all the ingredients you can still make it work! Love your channel and especially love big cooking days with your mom!❤
Well, they said it was a pull apart bread!
I am also growing the baker creek long white zucchini and Jarrahdale pumpkins this year.
Years ago we made monkey bread. We made it using cinnamon, brown sugar and other yummy stuff. It was sticky and so good. I may have to try your version of it as it sounds more savory.
I planted two zucchini plants and got 20 zucchini. I made salsa out of a few of them, added some to other dishes and gave the rest away.
